Hadith 361

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ali b. Majluwayh from his uncle Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Muhammad b. Isa from al-Hussain b. Ali from Ishaq b. Ammar from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“One who recites a hundred verses in Salaat-e-Shab, Allah would note down the reward of offering Salaat for the whole night for him and one who recites two hundred verses at night apart from Salaat-e-Shab, the Almighty Allah would write a Qintar of good deeds on Lauh-e-Mahfuz. A single Qintar is equal to twelve hundred Awqiya and a single Awqiya is bigger that Mount Ohad.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَهَ آیَهٍ یُصَلِّی بِهَا فِی لَیْلَهٍ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهَا قُنُوتَ لَیْلَهٍ وَ مَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَتَیْ آیَهٍ فِی لَیْلَهٍ مِنْ غَیْرِ صَلَاهِ اللَّیْلِ کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فِی اللَّوْحِ قِنْطَاراً مِنَ الْحَسَنَاتِ وَ الْقِنْطَارُ أَلْفٌ وَ مِائَتَا أُوقِیَّهٍ وَ الْأُوقِیَّهُ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ جَبَلِ أُحُدٍ.
