Hadith 688

1. It was narrated to me by Hamzah b. Muhammad who said I was informed by Ali b. Ibrahim from his father Ibrahim b. Hashim from Musa b. Ibrahim who raised it to The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) who said
“The woman will live with one who had a better character and behavior with the people around him. O Umme Salma! Good character grants good rewards in this world and the hereafter.”
حَدَّثَنِی حَمْزَهُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ رَفَعَهُ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ
قَالَتْ لَهُ [أُمُ] سَلَمَهَ رض بِأَبِی أَنْتَ وَ أُمِّی یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الْمَرْأَهُ یَکُونُ لَهَا زَوْجَانِ فَیَمُوتَانِ فَیَدْخُلَانِ الْجَنَّهَ لِأَیِّهِمَا تَکُونُ فَقَالَ النَّبِیُّ ص تَخَیَّرُ أَحْسَنَهُمَا خُلُقاً وَ خَیْرَهُمَا لِأَهْلِهِ یَا أُمَّ سَلَمَهَ إِنَّ حُسْنَ الْخُلُقِ ذَهَبَ بِخَیْرِ الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَهِ.
