Hadith 649

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Ahmad b. Idris from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Muawiyah b. Wahab who said
“When a person does Taubah Nasooh, Allah loves him; and his sins of this world and hereafter are concealed.” The narrator asked, “How does Allah conceal all his sins?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “He makes the two angels who write deeds forget those sins and orders the parts of his body to keep the sins hidden. All the parts of the earth where he has committed sins are ordered to hide his sins. Hence when that person comes in the presence of Allah, nothing in this universe will testify to even the smallest of his sins.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِدْرِیسَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَهَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ إِذَا تَابَ الْعَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنُ تَوْبَهً نَصُوحاً أَحَبَّهُ اللَّهُ فَسَتَرَ عَلَیْهِ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَهِ قُلْتُ وَ کَیْفَ یَسْتُرُ عَلَیْهِ قَالَ یُنْسِی مَلَکَیْهِ مَا کَتَبَا عَلَیْهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ وَ أَوْحَی اللَّهُ إِلَی جَوَارِحِهِ اکْتُمِی عَلَیْهِ ذُنُوبَهُ وَ أَوْحَی إِلَی بِقَاعِ الْأَرْضِ اکْتُمِی عَلَیْهِ مَا کَانَ یَعْمَلُ عَلَیْکِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ فَیَلْقَی اللَّهَ حِینَ یَلْقَاهُ وَ لَیْسَ شَیْ ءٌ یَشْهَدُ عَلَیْهِ بِالذُّنُوبِ.
