Hadith 654

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Muawiyah from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“No Muslim man cultivates the advices of Allah in himself then gives the rights and recovers the rights; but that he gets two benefits – he will get satisfying sustenance and salvation-giving pleasure of Allah.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِیَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَا نَاصَحَ اللَّهَ عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ فِی نَفْسِهِ فَأَعْطَی الْحَقَّ مِنْهَا وَ أَخَذَ الْحَقَّ لَهَا [إِلَّا] أُعْطِیَ خَصْلَتَیْنِ رِزْقاً مِنَ اللَّهِ یَقْنَعُ بِهِ وَ یَرْضَی مِنَ اللَّهِ بِتَحِیَّتِهِ.
