Hadith 1011

5. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan from Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ya’qub b. Yazid from al-’Ama by his chain who said
“The Almighty Allah will not accept the repentance of a person who starts an innovation.” He was asked, “Why is it so?” He replied, “It is because the person has kept the love of innovation in his heart.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنِ الْعَمِّیِّ بِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَبَی اللَّهُ تَعَالَی لِصَاحِبِ الْبِدْعَهِ بِالتَّوْبَهِ قِیلَ یَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ کَیْفَ ذَلِکَ قَالَ إِنَّهُ قَدْ أُشْرِبَ قَلْبُهُ حُبَّهَا.
