Hadith 210

1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah al-Barqi from Yunis b. Ya’qub from al-Sadiq (a.s.) who said
Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says that Imam Zainul Abideen (a.s.) willed to Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) at the time of his martyrdom, “I have performed twenty Hajjs on this she- camel and have not whipped it even once. When it dies, bury it, so that animals do not feed upon its flesh because I have heard the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) say that there is no camel who halts at Arafah during Hajj for seven years except that Allah makes it a camel of Paradise and blesses its progeny.” When this she-camel died, Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) buried it.
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِیِّ عَنْ یُونُسَ بْنِ یَعْقُوبَ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ ع قَالَ
قَالَ عَلِیُّ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ ع لِابْنِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ حِینَ حَضَرَتْهُ الْوَفَاهُ إِنَّنِی قَدْ حَجَجْتُ عَلَی نَاقَتِی هَذِهِ عِشْرِینَ حِجَّهً فَلَمْ أَقْرَعْهَا بِسَوْطٍ قَرْعَهً فَإِذَا نَفَقَتْ فَادْفِنْهَا لَا یَأْکُلْ لَحْمَهَا السِّبَاعُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ مَا مِنْ بَعِیرٍ یُوقَفُ عَلَیْهِ مَوْقِفَ عَرَفَهَ سَبْعَ حِجَجٍ إِلَّا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ نَعَمِ الْجَنَّهِ وَ بَارَکَ فِی نَسْلِهِ فَلَمَّا نَفَقَتْ حَفَرَ لَهَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع وَ دَفَنَهَا.
