Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘The least knowledge of Allah leads one to abstain from the vanities of this world.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): يَسيرُ المَعرِفَةِ يُوجِبُ الزُّهدَ في الدّنيا.

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘He who attains inner knowledge of Allah fears Allah, and he who fears Allah restrains himself from this world.
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): مَن عَرَفَ اللّهَ خافَ اللّهَ ، ومَن خافَ اللّهَ سَخَت نَفسُهُ عَنِ الدّنيا .
