Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Resentment is the basest of defects.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : الحِقْدُ اَلْأمُ العُيوبِ.

Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Resentment is the instigator of anger.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : الحِقدُ مَثارُ الغَضَبِ.

Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Resentment is the cause of problems.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : سَبَبُ الفِتَنِ الحِقْدُ .
