Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘If you commit a misdeed, hasten to erase it with repentance.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): إنْ قارَفْتَ سَيّئةً فعَجِّلْ مَحْوَها بالتَّوبةِ .

Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘The one who procrastinates in repenting for himself faces the greatest danger from the [sudden] attack of death.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): مُسَوِّفُ نَفسِهِ بالتَّوبةِ، مِن هُجومِ الأجَلِ على أعظَمِ الخَطَرِ .

Imam al-Jawad (AS) said, ‘Postponing repentance is an illusion, and long procrastination is perplexity.
الإمامُ الجوادُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): تأخِيرُ التَّوبةِ اغْتِرارٌ ، وطُولُ التّسْويفِ حَيْرَةٌ.
