Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘A man who shuns his brothers for every lapse has few friends.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مَن جانَبَ الإخْوانَ على كُلِّ ذَنبٍ قَلَّ أصدِقاؤهُ.

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘A man who does not befriend [anyone] unless they are flawless will have few friends.
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مَن لَم يُؤاخِ إلّا مَن لا عَيبَ فيهِ قَلَّ صَديقُهُ.
