Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘When the stomach is filled with [even] permissible food, the heart becomes blind to goodness.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إذَا مُلِئَ البَطْنُ مِنَ المُبَاحِ عَمِيَ القَلْبُ عَنِ الصَّلاَحِ.
