Hadith 497

Hadith.3614 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said:
"Wealth that prevents you from committing oppression is better than poverty that leads you to sin."
3614 - وَ قَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : "غِنًى يَحْجُزُكَ عَنِ اَلظُّلْمِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ فَقْرٍ يَحْمِلُكَ عَلَى اَلْإِثْمِ".
