Hadith 468

1. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Sa’d bin Abdullah, from Ahmad bin Muhammed, from his father, from Hammad bin Isa, from some of our companions, from Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, that he said
Complaining is not that a man says: «I became ill yesterday» or «I was ached yesterday». However, complaining is that one says: «I have become afflicted with what none has been afflicted with.»
أبي - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن حماد بن عيسى، عن بعض أصحابه، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال
ليست الشكاية أن يقول الرجل: مرضت البارحة أو وعكت البارحة ولكن الشكاية أن يقول: بليت بما لم يبتل به أحد.
