Hadith 230
۞
1. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Sa’d bin Abdullah, from Ahmad bin Abi Abdillah, from Muhammed ibn Ali, that he ascribed it, saying
Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, said: Beware from branched lying. It was said to him: And what is branched lying. He said: That a man tells you a narration, and then you narrate it of other than the one who told it to you.
