hadith 5251
Imam Ali (AS) said, Espouse truthfulness even if you fear harm may come of it, for indeed this is better for you than the lying from which benefit is expected.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اِلْزَمِ الصِّدْقَ وَ إنْ خِفْتَ ضُرَّهُ فَإنَّهُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الكِذْبِ المَرْجُوِّ نَفْعُهُ

hadith 5252
Imam Ali (AS) said, Seek benefit from truthfulness in every situation and you will gain; keep away from evil and dishonesty, and you will remain safe.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اِغْتَنِمِ الصِّدْقَ في كُلِّ مَوْطِن تَغْنَمْوَ اجْتَنِبِ الشَّرَّ وَ الكِذْبَ تَسْلَمْ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Truthfulness is trustworthiness; dishonesty is a betrayal.

Imam Ali (AS) said, Honesty is a merit; dishonesty is a vice.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : اَلصِّدْق فَضيلَةٌ اَلكِذْبُ رَذيلَةٌ

Imam Ali (AS) said, Truthfulness has diminished among the people and dishonesty has become abundant; love is been expressed by [people with their] tongue while they hate each other with their hearts.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : غاضَ الصِّدْقُ فِي النّاسِ وَ فاضَ الكِذْبُ وَاسْتُعْمِلَتِ المَوَدَّةُ بِاللِّسانِ وَ تَشاحَنُوا بِالقُلُوبِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, If things were to be differentiated from each other, honesty would be with courage and cowardice would be with dishonesty.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لَوْ تَمَيَّزَتِ الأشْياءُ لَكانَ الصِّدْقُ مَعَ الشَّجاعَةِ وَكانَ الجُبْنُ مَعَ الكِذْبُ
