Imam Ali (AS) said, Only he is a scholar whose knowledge calls him to piety and God-wariness, to abstinence from the pleasures of the transient world and to infatuation with the heavenly abode.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنَّمَا العالِمُ مَنْ دَعاهُ عِلْمُهُ إلَى الوَرَعِ وَ التُّقى وَ الزُّهْدِ في عالَمِ الفَناءِ وَ التَّوَلُّهِ بِجَنَّةِ المَأْوى
