Imam Ali (AS) said, The one who has honoured you has made you uncomfortable if you are noble-minded and the one who has offended you has made you comfortable if you are forbearing.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لَقَدْ أتْعَبَكَ مَنْ أكْرَمَكَ إنْ كُنْتَ كَريماً وَ لَقَدْ أراحَكَ مَنْ أهانَكَ إنْ كُنْتَ حَليماً
