Imam Ali (AS) said, Desires have rent asunder his intellect and killed his heart while his mind is infatuated with them.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : قَدْ خَرَقَتِ الشَّهَواتُ عَقْلَهُ وَ أماتَتْ قَلْبَهُ وَ وَلَّهَتْ عَلَيْها نَفْسَهُ
