Imam Ali (AS) said, The [highest] limit of the intellect is considering the consequences [of actions] and being pleased with what has been decreed [by Allah].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : حَدُّ العَقْلِ النَّظَرُ فِي العَواقِبِ وَ الرِّضا بِما يَجْري بِهِ القَضاءُ

hadith 6640
Imam Ali (AS) said, Whenever the intellect of a person increases, his faith in divine decree becomes stronger and he takes the changing events [that bring worldly loss to him] lightly.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : كُلَّمَا ازْدادَ عَقْلُ الرَّجُلِ قَوِيَ إيمانُهُ بِالقَدَرِ وَ اسْتَخَفَّ بِالغِيَرِ
