Imam Ali (AS) said, I wonder at the one who knows that Allah has guaranteed sustenance and allotted it, and that his effort will not increase what has [already] been allotted for him of it, yet he is greedy and unrelenting in his desire for [more] wealth.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : عَجِبْتُ لِمَنْ عَلِمَ أنَّ اللّهَ قَدْ ضَمِنَ الأرْزاقَ وَ قَدَّرَها وَ أنَّ سَعْيَهُ لايَزيدُهُ فيما قُدِّرَ لَهُ مِنْها وَ هُوَ حَريصٌ دائِبٌ في طَلَبِ الرِّزْقِ
