Imam Ali (AS) said, The lies of an envoy give rise to corruption, cause the failure of the intended objective, nullify judiciousness and invalidate firm resolution.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : كِذْبُ السَّفيرِ يُوَلِّدُ الفَسادَ وَ يُفَوِّتُ المُرادَ وَ يُبْطِلُ الحَزْمَ وَ يَنْقُضُ العَزْمَ
