Imam Ali (AS) said, Do not be quick in accepting the words of a talebearer, even if he resembles the good advisers, for indeed the slanderer oppresses the one whom he slanders [about] and deceives the one whom he slanders to.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لاتَعْجِلَنَّ إلى تَصْديقِ واش وَ إنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِالنّاصِحينَ فَإنَّ السّاعِيَ ظالِمٌ لِمَنْ سَعى بِهِ غاشٌّ لِمَنْ سَعى إلَيْهِ
