Imam Ali (AS) said, When the speech corresponds to the intention of the speaker, the listener accepts it but when it is against his intention, it does not take up a good position in his heart.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إذا طابَقَ الكَلامُ نِيَّةَ المُتَكَلِّمِ قَبِلَهُ السّامِعُ وَ إذا خالَفَ نِيَّتَهُ لَمْ يَحْسُنْ مَوْقِعُهُ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ
