Imam Ali (AS) said, One who has three [qualities] in him, will remain safe both in this world and the next: He enjoins good and follows it himself, He forbids evil and keeps away from it himself, and he preserves the boundaries [and ordinances] of Allah, the Sublime and the Exalted.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مَنْ كانَ فيه ثَلاثٌ سَلِمَتْ لَهُ الدُّنيا وَ الآخِرَةُ: يَأمُرُ بِالمَعْرُوفِ وَ يَأْتَمِرُ بِهِ وَ يَنْهى عَنِ المُنْكَرِ وَ يَنْتَهي عَنْهُ وَ يُحافِظُ عَلى حُدُودِ اللّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلا
