Imam Ali (AS) said, The height of religion is enjoining good, forbidding evil and upholding the boundaries [of Islamic law].
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : غايَةُ الدّينِ اَلأمْرُ بِالمَعْرُوفِ وَ النَّهيُ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ وَ إقامَةُ الحُدُودِ

Imam Ali (AS) said, The basis of religious law is enjoining good, forbidding evil and upholding the boundaries [of Islamic law].
