Imam Ali (AS) said, The person with the best opinion is he who does not consider himself needless of the counsel of an advisor.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : أفْضَلُ النَّاسِ رَأياً مَنْ لا يَسْتَغْني عَنْ رَأيِ مُشير

Imam Ali (AS) said, Do not become opinionated [and headstrong], for the one who is opinionated is destroyed.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : لا تَسْتَبِدَّ بِرَأيِكَ فَمَنِ اسْتَبَدَّ بِرَأيِهِ هَلَكَ

Imam Ali (AS) said, When one is opinionated, it becomes easy for his enemies to defeat him.
