Imam Ali (AS) said, The generosity of a man endears him to his rivals and his stinginess makes him hated by his [own] children.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : جُودُ الرَّجُلِ يُحَبِّبُهُ إلى أضْدادِهِ وَ بُخْلُهُ يُبَغِّضُهُ إلى أوْلادِهِ
