Imam Ali (AS) said, Be wary of the wicked one during the coming of power [and authority], that he does not cause it to be taken away from you and during its departure [from you], that he does not gather support against you.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إحْذَرِ الشَّريرَ عِنْدَ إقْبالِ الدَّوْلَةِ لِئَلاّ يُزيلَها عَنْكَ وَ عِنْدَ إدْبارِها لِئَلاّ يُعينَ عَليْكَ
