Imam Ali (AS) said, He (‘a) was asked about the distance between the east and the west so he replied: It is a days journey for the sun.
الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : وَ سُئِلَ ـ عليهِ السّلامُ ـ عَنْ مَسافَةِ ما بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ والْمَغْرِبِ ؟ فَقالَ: مَسيرُ يَوْم لِلشَّمْسِ
