As for the two with whom he did not consummate his marriage, they were ʿAmrah and al-Sanā. As for the thirteen with whom he did consummate his marriages, the first was Khadījah bt. 9-13 حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن إسحاق الطالقاني رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا الحسين بن علي بن الحسين السكري قال: حدثنا محمد بن زكريا الجوهري، عن جعفر بن محمد بن عمارة عن أبيه، عن أبي عبد الله جعفر بن محمد الصادق عليه السلام قال

Notes
Sunni Sīrah gives an alternative order of the Prophet's marriages, with the first three being Khadījah, ʿĀʾishah, and Sawdah. However, there is disagreement over whether ʿĀʾishah or Sawdah was second (Shaddel, Mehdy. Lists and Islamic Historical Memory: A List of Muhammad's Wives on Papyrus. Unpublished. pg. 11). He appears not to take this list into account in his assessment, as this Hadith is more unique in its ordering of wives than even the papyrus that Shaddel examined, which, in his assessment, lay outside the later Islamic historiographical tradition. Here, Sawdah is his second wife and Umm Salamah his third. ʿĀʾishah is, instead, relegated to the fourth marriage.
