Hadith 2466
6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Dihqan from Durust from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that once a man complained before the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, about loneliness and fear. He (the Messenger of Allah) commanded him to keep a pair of pigeons in his house.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
شَكَا رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْوَحْشَةَ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ فِي بَيْتِهِ زَوْجَ حَمَامٍ .

Hadith 2467
7. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from abu ‘Abd Allah, al-Jamuraniy from al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn abu Hamzah from his father from Sandal from Zayd al-Shahham who has said the following
“I once mentioned pigeons before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and he (the Imam) said, ‘You can keep them in your homes; it is a lovely (hobby). The prayer of Nuh (Noah) (a.s.), has arrived at them. It is the most comforting thing in the house.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَامُورَانِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ قَالَ
ذُكِرَتِ الْحَمَامُ عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ اتَّخِذُوهَا فِي مَنَازِلِكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا مَحْبُوبَةٌ لَحِقَتْهَا دَعْوَةُ نُوحٍ ( عليه السلام ) وَ هِيَ آنَسُ شَيْ‏ءٍ فِي الْبُيُوتِ .
