The Coloring (referred to in the Holy Quran) Is Islam

“About the words of Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, ‘. . . It is the coloring of Allah. Who has a better color than Allah’s color?’ (2:138), Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) said, ‘It (color) stands for al-Islam.’ In the words of Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, ‘. . . He has established a firm hold onto the strong grip’. . . (2:256), he said, ‘It (the strong grip) is the faith and belief in Allah, Who is One and has no partners.’”

“About the words of Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious: ‘. . . it is the coloring of Allah. Who has a better color than Allah’s color?’ (2:138), the Imam said, ‘It stands for al-lslam, the religion.’”

“About the words of Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, ‘. . . It is the coloring of Allah. Who has a better color than Allah’s color?’ (2:138), the Imam said, ‘Color stands for al-lslam, the religion.’ He, about the words of Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, also said, ‘Whoever then rejects the Taghut (falsehood) and establishes belief in Allah he, thus, has established his grasp securely with the strongest grip...,’ The Imam said, "It (strongest grip) means belief.’”
