Hadith 2209
23. Sahl in a marfu‘ manner has narrated the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘
A man must not enter a bathhouse with his son to allow him look at his private parts.’”
سهل رفعه قال: قال أبوعبدالله عليه السلام: لا يدخل الرجل مع ابنه الحمام فينظر إلى عورته.

Hadith 2212
26. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from abu Yahya al-Wasitiy from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Madiy (a.s.), has said, ‘Private parts are two: the front and back. The back is covered with the rump. If you cover the penis and testicles you have covered your private parts.’” In another Hadith it is said, ‘The back is covered with the rump. You can cover the front with your hand.’
محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن أبي يحيى الواسطي، عن بعض أصحابنا، عن أبي الحسن الماضي عليه السلام قال
العورة عورتان القبل والدبر، فأما الدبر مستور بالاليتين فإذا سترت القضيب والبيضتين فقد سترت العورة.

Hadith 2214
28. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ibn abu Ya‘fur who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), if a nude person during pouring water on him can look at his own private parts, or water can be poured on him or he can look at the private parts of others. He (the Imam) said, ‘My father disliked all of it on the part of everyone.’”
محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمدبن محمد، عن علي بن الحكم، عن أبان بن عثمان، عن ابن أبي يعفور قال
سألت أبا عبدالله عليه السلام أيتجرد الرجل عند صب الماء ترى عورته أو يصب عليه الماء أو يرى هو عورة الناس؟ فقال: كان أبي يكره ذلك من كل أحد(1).

Hadith 2221
35. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Umar ibn Ali ibn ‘Umar ibn Yazid from his uncle Muhammad ibn ‘Umar from those who narrated to him that Abu Ja‘far (a.s.) used to say, "
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not enter the bathhouse except with a waistcloth." One day, he entered the bathhouse and applied lime paste. When the paste covered his body, he removed the waistcloth. His servant said to him, "May my father and mother be your ransom, you advise us to keep the waistcloth, but you have removed it yourself?" He replied, "Don't you know that the lime paste has covered the private parts?"
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ بَعْضِ مَنْ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام )
كَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَ الْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَدْخُلِ الْحَمَّامَ إِلَّا بِمِئْزَرٍ، قال: فدخل ذات يوم الحمام فتنور فلما أن أطبقت النورة على بدنه ألقى المئزر فقال له مولى له: بأبي أنت وأمي إنك لتوصينا بالمئزر ولزومه وقد ألقيته عن نفسك؟ فقال: أما علمت أن النورة قد أطبقت العورة.

Hadith 2222
36. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Ja‘far from certain persons of his people who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘A man must not enter a bathhouse with his son where he can look at his private parts.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Parents cannot look at the private parts of their children, and children cannot look at the private parts of their parents.’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘The Messenger of Allah has condemned the looking and the one being looked at in a bathhouse when one is without a loincloth.’”
الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا يَدْخُلِ الرَّجُلُ مَعَ ابْنِهِ الْحَمَّامَ فَيَنْظُرَ إِلَى عَوْرَتِهِوَ قَالَ لَيْسَ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَا إِلَى عَوْرَةِ الْوَلَدِ وَ لَيْسَ لِلْوَلَدِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى عَوْرَةِ الْوَالِدِ وَ قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) النَّاظِرَ وَ الْمَنْظُورَ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْحَمَّامِ بِلَا مِئْزَرٍ .وَ قَالَ لَيْسَ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَا إِلَى عَوْرَةِ الْوَلَدِ وَ لَيْسَ لِلْوَلَدِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى عَوْرَةِ الْوَالِدِ وَ قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) النَّاظِرَ وَ الْمَنْظُورَ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْحَمَّامِ بِلَا مِئْزَرٍ .
