Hadith 203

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from abu Talib in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that a man from al-Ansar (people of al-Madinah) once asked him (the Messenger of Allah), ‘To whom should I be kind?’ He (the Messenger of Allah) said, ‘Be kind to your parents.’ He said, ‘They have passed away.’ He (the Messenger of Allah) said, ‘Be kind to your children.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مَنْ أَبَرُّ قَالَ وَالِدَيْكَ قَالَ قَدْ مَضَيَا قَالَ بَرَّ وَلَدَكَ .
