Hadith 209

208. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from his father, who has narrated the following
Abu Abdullah (asws) regarding the Statement of the High (azwj): “[3:103] and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it, through Muhammad (saww).’’ By Allah (azwj), this is how Jibraeel (as) came down with it upon Muhammad (saww)’.
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى وَ كُنْتُمْ عَلى شَفا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْها بِمُحَمَّدٍ هَكَذَا وَ اللَّهِ نَزَلَ بِهَا جَبْرَئِيلُ (عليه السلام) عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ (صلى الله عليه وآله).
