I asked Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) about a man who purchased food specifically from a village. Imam (as) said: "There is no harm in that. If the food is delivered, it belongs to him. But if it is not delivered, then it remains a debt upon the seller."

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘It is sufficient for Wudu’ to allow water to touch your skin (of the parts to be washed for Wudu’).”’

I asked Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a man who dies and leaves behind a son who is enslaved. Imam (as) said: "His son should be purchased from his wealth, then freed, and he will inherit whatever remains."

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce of a pregnant woman is one and when she gives birth she become stranger to him.’”

I heard Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) say: "I do not like for a Muslim man to marry a woman who would be a co-wife to his mother, with someone other than his father."

“About the case of a man who marries five women in one contract, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘He can keep any four and allow anyone of them to go.’”

“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that when the gushing out of urine stops, you can pour water to wash it clean.”

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Friday Salah (prayer) is not obligatory upon those who are two farsakh (about six miles) away (from the location of the congregation).”’

“I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘Of the special characteristics that Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has given to a believer is that he is the means for the recognition and identification of the good deeds of his brothers (in belief) even if such deeds are small and little. Goodness is not in plentifulness as it is mentioned in the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, in His book: ‘They give preference to them over themselves, even concerning the things that they themselves urgently need. . . .’ then He has said, ‘. . . whoever controls his greed will have everlasting happiness.’ (59:9) To whoever Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, grants such recognition He loves him. Whomever Allah, the Most Blessed, the Most High, loves, He grants him reward in full measures on the Day of Judgment and without keeping any counts.’ The Imam said, ‘O Jamil, narrate this Hadith to your brothers (in belief); it is an exhortation to good deeds.’”

When a woman divorced in the manner of al-Khul‘ it must be followed by divorce as long as she is in waiting period.’”

Hadith.1120 - Jamil ibn Salih asked: "Which is better, for a man to pray by himself at the beginning of the time (for prayer) or to delay a little and pray with the people of his mosque if he is their Imam?" He (as) replied: "He should delay and pray with the people of his mosque if he is their Imam."

"If the claimant presents evidence, then no oath is required from him. However, if he does not present evidence and the defendant offers to take an oath, but the claimant refuses, then he has no right to his claim."

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Whoever of the believers preserves his obligatory Salah (prayers) and performs them in time, he is not of the neglectful people.’”
