3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from al-Husayn ibn Zayd who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Marriage becomes lawful with three conditions: marriage with the right for inheritance, without inheritance, and with the right for ownership.’”
3- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ يَحِلُّ الْفَرْجُ بِثَلاثٍ نِكَاحٍ بِمِيرَاثٍ وَنِكَاحٍ بِلا مِيرَاثٍ وَنِكَاحٍ بِمِلْكِ الْيَمِينِ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Sulayman who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Ali (a.s.), would make the son of a brother to inherit the share of his father with a grandfather.’”
2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ عَلِيّاً (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) كَانَ يُوَرِّثُ ابْنَ الأخِ مَعَ الْجَدِّ مِيرَاثَ أَبِيهِ.

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah from Zurarah who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who receives al-Fitrah: if he is required to pay al-Fitrah. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, he is required to pay al-Fitrah from what he receives as al- Fitrah.’”
11ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ الْفَقِيرُ الَّذِي يُتَصَدَّقُ عَلَيْهِ هَلْ عَلَيْهِ صَدَقَةُ الْفِطْرَةِ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ يُعْطِي مِمَّا يُتَصَدَّقُ بِهِ عَلَيْهِ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from’Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about how one should take Wudu’ with a wound. He (the Imam) said, ‘He must wash the area around it.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْجُرْحِ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ بِهِ صَاحِبُهُ قَالَ يَغْسِلُ مَا حَوْلَهُ.

“Whoever’ s entanglement with the world is greater his sorrow to leave this world becomes more intense.”
16ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ كَثُرَ اشْتِبَاكُهُ بِالدُّنْيَا كَانَ أَشَدَّ لِحَسْرَتِهِ عِنْدَ فِرَاقِهَا.

25. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Afi ibn Asbat who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Do not wash your head with the clay of Misr (Egypt); it destroys self-esteem and may cause one to become a pimp.’”

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: لا تغسلوا رؤوسكم بطين مصر فإنه يذهب بالغيرة ويورث الدياثة.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Advance payment to receive goods in future is lawful if the length and width is made known.’”
3- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مَرَّارٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ لا بَأْسَ بِالسَّلَمِ فِي الْمَتَاعِ إِذَا سَمَّيْتَ الطُّولَ وَالْعَرْضَ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘A wine addict will meet Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, when he meets Him, as a worshipper of idols will do.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ كَعَابِدِ وَثَنٍ .

28-36 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father, Muhammad ibn Musa al-Mutevakil, Muhammad ibn Ali Majiluyih, Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim, Hamzih ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Alavi, al-Hussein ibn Ibrahim ibn Natanat, al-Hussein ibn Ahmad ibn Hisham al-Mo’adab and Ahmad ibn Zyad ibn Ja’far al-Hamedany - may the Sublime God be pleased with them - narrated that Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim quoted hi father, on the authority of Abdullah ibn al-Muqayrih that had heard Abi Ja’far Muhammad ibn Ali al-Sani (MGB) say, “
God’s Prophet (MGB) taught Ali (MGB) one-thousand words. Each word opened up to one-thousand new words.”

18. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub from abu Ayyub from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I heard abu Ja’far (a.s.) saying ‘How excellent are good deeds after evil deeds and how disgraceful are evil deeds after good deeds!”’
18ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَا أَحْسَنَ الْحَسَنَاتِ بَعْدَ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَا أَقْبَحَ السَّيِّئَاتِ بَعْدَ الْحَسَنَاتِ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Allah, the most Blessed, the most High, has said, ‘Fasting is for Me, and I reward for it.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ صَاحِبِ السَّابِرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِنَّ الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي عَلَيْهِ.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If they can see the crescent before Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime), then it is of the last night but if they see it after Zawal, then it is of the coming night.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا رَأَوُا الْهِلالَ قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتِهِ الْمَاضِيَةِ وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُ بَعْدَ الزَّوَالِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتِهِ الْمُسْتَقْبَلَةِ.

12. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Isma‘il ibn al-Hurr who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If the crescent disappears before al-Shafaq (redness) it is of the first night, but if disappears after al-Shafaq it is of the second night.’”
12ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا غَابَ الْهِلالُ قَبْلَ الشَّفَقِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتِهِ وَإِذَا غَابَ بَعْدَ الشَّفَقِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتَيْنِ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from (his father) from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following
“About the case of a young found inside an animal which is slaughtered, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘You can use it for food if it has grown hairs, otherwise, do not use it for food, that is, if it has not grown any hairs.’”

أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْجَنِينِ إِذَا أَشْعَرَ فَكُلْ وَ إِلَّا فَلَا تَأْكُلْ يَعْنِي إِذَا لَمْ يُشْعِرْ .

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about eating lizards. He (the Imam) said, ‘Lizards, rats, apes and pigs are metamorphosed.’”

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Holy Prophet has said, ‘The first one who made food of several kinds was Ibrahim, and the first who made Tharid was Hashim.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أَوَّلُ مَنْ لَوَّنَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ( عليه السلام ) وَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ هَشَمَ الثَّرِيدَ هَاشِمٌ .

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu Najran from more than one person who has narrated the following
“About the case of a Jew and a Christian who dies and has Muslim children and non-Muslim children, he (the Imam) said, ’The laws of inheritance apply to them.’” (Only Muslims inherit).
2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي يَهُودِيٍّ أَوْ نَصْرَانِيٍّ يَمُوتُ وَلَهُ أَوْلادٌ مُسْلِمُونَ وَأَوْلادٌ غَيْرُ مُسْلِمِينَ فَقَالَ
هُمْ عَلَى مَوَارِيثِهِمْ.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim who has narrated the following: “This is about the meaning of the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious. ‘. . . the witnesses must not refuse to testify when they are summoned to testify,’ (2:282) abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘
It is before the presentation of testimony.’”
4- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلا يَأْبَ الشُّهَداءُ إِذا ما دُعُوا قَالَ
قَبْلَ الشَّهَادَةِ.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not harmful if one changes his cloths, but when one enters Makkah, one must wear the two pieces of cloths in which one had assumed the state of Ihram . He (the Imam) disliked selling-out of these two pieces of cloths . ‘“
10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الْمُحْرِمِ يَتَرَدَّى بِالثَّوْبَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَالثَّلاثَةِ إِنْ شَاءَ يَتَّقِي بِهَا الْبَرْدَ وَالْحَرَّ.
