hadith 1765

14. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following

“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ’Prohibit your wives from breastfeeding many children, left and right, because they forget.’”

14- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) انْهَوْا نِسَاءَكُمْ أَنْ يُرْضِعْنَ يَمِيناً وَشِمَالا فَإِنَّهُنَّ يَنْسَيْنَ.

6. Ali has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that once a man came to ’Amir al-Mu’minin and said, ‘O ’Amir al-Mu’minin, my wife breastfed a boy and I said, “By Allah, I will not go to bed with you until you wean him.’” He (the Imam) said, ‘ 7/a’ (swearing) does not take place in constructive and virtuous deeds.’”

عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ

أَتَى رَجُلٌ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي أَرْضَعَتْ غُلَاماً وَ إِنِّي قُلْتُ وَ اللَّهِ لَا أَقْرَبُكِ حَتَّى تَفْطِمِيهِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ فِي الْإِصْلَاحِ إِيلَاءٌ .
