9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When taking Ghusl (bath) because of sexual relation, if one does not wash one’s head, then finds out that the head is not washed, he must take Ghusl (bath) again.’”
9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ فَلَمْ يَغْسِلْ رَأْسَهُ ثُمَّ بَدَا لَهُ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ رَأْسَهُ لَمْ يَجِدْ بُدّاً مِنْ إِعَادَةِ الْغُسْلِ.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from those whom he has mentioned (in his book) who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), ‘Why is the House called free House?’ He (the Imam) replied, ’It is a free house. It is free from people; no one owns it.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ لِمَ سُمِّيَ الْبَيْتُ الْعَتِيقَ قَالَ هُوَ بَيْتٌ حُرٌّ عَتِيقٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ لَمْ يَمْلِكْهُ أَحَدٌ.

3. Ahmad ibn al-Husayn has narrated from Fadalah from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from Ibrahim ibn Maymun who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who leads women in obligatory Salah (prayer) where there are no other men. He (the Imam) said, ‘
Yes, he can do so and if there is a child he stands up on his side.’”
3ـ أَحْمَدُ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَؤُمُّ النِّسَاءَ لَيْسَ مَعَهُنَّ رَجُلٌ فِي الْفَرِيضَةِ قَالَ
نَعَمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ صَبِيٌّ فَلْيَقُمْ إِلَى جَانِبِهِ.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Shadhan ibn al-Khalil, from Yunus, from Hammad, from Al- Husayn who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who wears a turban and it is difficult for him to remove it because of the cold. He (the Imam) said, ‘He can push his finger under the turban.”’
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ شَاذَانَ بْنِ الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) رَجُلٌ تَوَضَّأَ وَهُوَ مُعْتَمٌّ فَثَقُلَ عَلَيْهِ نَزْعُ الْعِمَامَةِ لِمَكَانِ الْبَرْدِ فَقَالَ لِيُدْخِلْ إِصْبَعَهُ.

1. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Salih ibn abu Hammad from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah from Safwan from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about ‘Aqiqah for one who is affluent and one who is poor. He (the Imam) said, ’It is not necessary for one who cannot find anything.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Al-Halabiy has said that narrated to him, the one who had heard from him (the Imam) ‘Alayhi al- Salam, say, ‘You must slaughter as offering a black ram that has horns and if you cannot find a black ram, then find one that has black eyes and mouth.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ ضَحِّ بِكَبْشٍ أَسْوَدَ أَقْرَنَ فَحْلٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدْ أَسْوَدَ فَأَقْرَنُ فَحْلٌ يَأْكُلُ فِي سَوَادٍ وَيَشْرَبُ فِي سَوَادٍ وَيَنْظُرُ فِي سَوَادٍ.

Everything in this book that is narrated from Salih ibn Al-Hakam has been transmitted by me from my father - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Sa'd ibn Abdullah, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn Abi Al-Khattab, from Ja'far ibn Bashir, from Hammad ibn 'Uthman, from Salih ibn Al-Hakam Al-Ahwal.
عن أبي- رضي اللّه عنه- عن سعد بن عبد اللّه، عن محمّد بن الحسين أبي الخطّاب، عن جعفر بن بشير، عن حمّاد بن عثمان، عن صالح بن الحكم الأحول‌.

hadith 121
Hadith.3264 - In the narration of Hammad from Hariz, Abu Abdillah (as) said: "No one is sentenced to life imprisonment except for three: the one who is held for murder and is kept until he is executed, the woman who apostasizes from Islam, and the thief after his hand and foot have been amputated."
3264 - وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"لاَ يُخَلَّدُ فِي اَلسِّجْنِ إِلاَّ ثَلاَثَةٌ اَلَّذِي يُمْسِكُ عَلَى اَلْمَوْتِ يَحْفَظُهُ حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ وَ اَلْمَرْأَةُ اَلْمُرْتَدَّةُ عَنِ اَلْإِسْلاَمِ وَ اَلسَّارِقُ بَعْدَ قَطْعِ اَلْيَدِ وَ اَلرِّجْلِ ".

Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdul-Wahab narrated to us from Hemmad bin Yazid from Ayyoub from Attaa from Ibn Abbas that the
Prophet (s) said: The love for Ali bin Abi Talib consumes the evil deeds in the same way as fire consumes wood.
حدّثنا عبد الله بن محمّد بن عبد الوهاب، قال: حدّثنا حمّاد بن يزيد، عن أيّوب عن عطاء، عن ابن عبّاس، قال
قال رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وآله: حبّ عليّ بن أبي طالب يأكل السيّئات كما تأكل النار الحطب.

hadith 480
4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from some of our people, from Abu Ja’far (a.s.) regarding the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High
“We gave them a great kingdom” (4:54): it means the obedience that is obligatory.”

H 191 - Narrated to us Muhammad bin Husain bin Abil Khattab from Sulaiman bin Ja’far from Hammad bin Isa Jehni from Abi Abdullah (a.s) that he said
“The Imamate will never come together in two brothers after Hasan and Husain (a.s). It will continue in his (Husain’s) progeny one generation after another.”
191- عنه عن محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب عن سليمان بن جعفر عن حماد بن عيسى الجهني قال
قال أبوعبدالله عليه السلام: لا تجتمع الإمامة في أخوين بعد الحسن والحسين عليهما السلام. إنما هي في الأعقاب وأعقاب الأعقاب.

3. Hammad has narrated from Hariz from Zurarah and Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“We once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the wind and darkness that at certain times come, is there any Salah (prayer) because of it? He (the Imam) said, ‘When anything frightening from the sky in the form of darkness, wind or noise takes place, perform Salah (prayer) like that of eclipse until it clears out.’”
3ـ حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالاَ
قُلْنَا لأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) هَذِهِ الرِّيَاحُ وَالظُّلَمُ الَّتِي تَكُونُ هَلْ يُصَلَّى لَهَا فَقَالَ كُلُّ أَخَاوِيفِ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ ظُلْمَةٍ أَوْ رِيحٍ أَوْ فَزَعٍ فَصَلِّ لَهُ صَلاَةَ الْكُسُوفِ حَتَّى يَسْكُنَ.

6. Hammad has narrated from Hariz from Zurarah and al-Fudayl who have said the following
“We once asked him (the Imam), ‘Is Salah (prayer) in congregation obligatory?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Salah (prayer) is obligatory but congregating for it in general is not obligatory; however, it is of the Sunnah. Whoever omits it in disregard and in disregard of the group of believers without good reason, his Salah (prayer) is nothing of value.’”
6ـ حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ وَالْفُضَيْلِ قَالاَ
قُلْنَا لَهُ الصَّلَوَاتُ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ فَرِيضَةٌ هِيَ فَقَالَ الصَّلَوَاتُ فَرِيضَةٌ وَلَيْسَ الاجْتِمَاعُ بِمَفْرُوضٍ فِي الصَّلاَةِ كُلِّهَا وَلَكِنَّهَا سُنَّةٌ وَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا وَعَنْ جَمَاعَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ غَيْرِ عِلَّةٍ فَلاَ صَلاَةَ لَهُ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘Testimony of women about the crescent is not admissible, only the testimony of two just witnesses is accepted.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ صَلَوَاتُ الله عَلَيْهِ لا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْهِلالِ وَلا تَجُوزُ إِلاَّ شَهَادَةُ رَجُلَيْنِ عَدْلَيْنِ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I asked abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) about a man who owes Qada’ (compensatory fast) of the month of Ramadan if he can fast an optional fast.‘ He (the Imam) replied, ‘No, he cannot do so before completing the Qada’ (compensatory fast) of the month of Ramadan.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ طَائِفَةٌ أَ يَتَطَوَّعُ فَقَالَ لا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ مَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ.

Hadith.4127 - Hammad ibn Isa narrated from Hariz who said
Abu Abdullah (as), was asked about an animal shot with an arrow, and its owner finds it the next day. Should he eat from it? Imam (as) said: "If he knows that his shot is what killed it, then he may eat it, provided that he had mentioned the name of Allah (swt) (at the time of shooting)."
4127 - وَ رَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلرَّمِيَّةِ يَجِدُهَا صَاحِبُهَا مِنَ اَلْغَدِ أَ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا قَالَ "إِنْ كَانَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّ رَمْيَتَهُ هِيَ قَتَلَتْهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ وَ ذَلِكَ إِذَا كَانَ قَدْ سَمَّى".

Hadith.3828 - Hammad narrated from Al-Halabi, from Abu Abdullah (as): He was asked about walnuts that cannot be counted individually, so they are measured with a container and then counted based on the amount in that container. Afterward, the remaining quantity is measured according to that count. Imam (as) said
"There is no problem with that."
3828 - وَ رَوَى حَمَّادٌ عَنِ اَلْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ اَلْجَوْزِ لاَ نَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ نَعُدَّهُ فَيُكَالُ بِمِكْيَالٍ ثُمَّ يُعَدُّ مَا فِيهِ ثُمَّ يُكَالُ مَا بَقِيَ عَلَى حِسَابِ ذَلِكَ مِنَ اَلْعَدَدِ قَالَ
"لاَ بَأْسَ بِهِ".

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Never use Iltihaf al-Samma’. I then asked, ‘What is Iltihaf al-Samma’?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is to insert clothes under your arms and secure them on one shoulder (as if placing yourself in a bag).”’
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام)
أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِيَّاكَ وَالْتِحَافَ الصَّمَّاءِ قُلْتُ وَمَا الْتِحَافُ الصَّمَّاءِ قَالَ أَنْ تُدْخِلَ الثَّوْبَ مِنْ تَحْتِ جَنَاحِكَ فَتَجْعَلَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبٍ وَاحِدٍ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about a man who reads (verses) Sajdah (prostration) in the last Surah (chapter). He (the Imam) said, ‘
He must perform Sajdah (prostration), then stand up, read al-Fatihah al-Kitab, then perform Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees) and Sajdah (prostration).”’
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقْرَأُ بِالسَّجْدَةِ فِي آخِرِ السُّورَةِ قَالَ
يَسْجُدُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَقْرَأُ فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ وَيَسْجُدُ.

16. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has said the following
“’Isma’il prepared food for a ceremony and abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), said to him, ’You must pay attention to the destitute to satisfy their hunger. Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, says, “Falsehood is not served first or revisited for service.” (34:49)”’
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ
أَوْلَمَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَلَيْكَ بِالْمَسَاكِينِ فَأَشْبِعْهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ وَ ما يُبْدِئُ الْباطِلُ وَ ما يُعِيدُ .
