3. Ali has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Jamil from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Al-Qur’ is the period between two Hayd (menses).”’
عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
الْقُرْءُ هُوَ مَا بَيْنَ الْحَيْضَتَيْنِ .

Hadith.4670 - Al-Alaa narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim from Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) who said
"If a man marries a young girl (jariyah) who is still nursing, and his wife then breastfeeds her, the marriage becomes invalid."
4670 - وَ رَوَى اَلْعَلاَءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلاً تَزَوَّجَ جَارِيَةً رَضِيعَةً فَأَرْضَعَتْهَا اِمْرَأَتُهُ فَسَدَ اَلنِّكَاحُ".

Hadith.2879 - Hariz narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, who said
I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about a ṣarūra (one who has not performed Hajj): "Can they perform Hajj using Zakat funds?" Imam (as) replied: "Yes."
2879 - وَ رَوَى حَرِيزٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلصَّرُورَةِ أَ يَحُجُّ مِنْ مَالِ اَلزَّكَاةِ قَالَ «نَعَمْ ».

Hadith.2648 - Muhammad ibn Muslim narrated from Abu Ja'far (as), who said
"A Muhrim may apply kohl to his eyes if he wishes, provided it is made with sabr (aloe) and does not contain saffron (za'faran) or turmeric (wars)."
2648 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«يَكْتَحِلُ اَلْمُحْرِمُ عَيْنَيْهِ إِنْ شَاءَ بِصَبِرٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِ زَعْفَرَانٌ وَ لاَ وَرْسٌ.

Hadith.1276 - Muhammad ibn Muslim narrated from one of the Imams (as) that
He said: "There is no shortening of the prayer for sailors on their ships, nor for the mule drivers (al-Mukari) and camel drivers (al-Jammal)."
1276 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَيْسَ عَلَى اَلْمَلاَّحِينَ فِي سُفُنِهِمْ تَقْصِيرٌ وَ لاَ عَلَى اَلْمُكَارِي وَ اَلْجَمَّالِ.

Hadith.1672 - Muhammad ibn Muslim narrated from Abu Ja’far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) regarding the People of the jizya
"Is anything other than the jizya taken from their wealth and livestock?" Imam (as) replied: "No."
1672 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
فِي أَهْلِ اَلْجِزْيَةِ يُؤْخَذُ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَ مَوَاشِيهِمْ شَيْءٌ سِوَى اَلْجِزْيَةِ قَالَ «لاَ».

Hadith.4197 - Muhammad ibn Muslim asked Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), about the meat of horses, beasts of burden, mules, and donkeys. Imam (as) said: "It is permissible, but people find it repugnant."
4197 - وَ سَأَلَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : عَنْ لُحُومِ اَلْخَيْلِ وَ اَلدَّوَابِّ وَ اَلْبِغَالِ وَ اَلْحَمِيرِ فَقَالَ
"حَلاَلٌ وَ لَكِنَّ اَلنَّاسَ يَعَافُونَهَا".

الْهِنْدَبَاءُ سَيِّدُ الْبُقُولِ .

Hadith.2848 - Al-‘Ala’ narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from one of the Imams (as): "
I asked him about a man who forgot to perform the Sa’i (the walking) between Safa and Marwah. Imam (as) said: 'It can be performed on his behalf.'"
2848 - رَوَى اَلْعَلاَءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَسِيَ أَنْ يَطُوفُ بَيْنَ اَلصَّفَا وَ اَلْمَرْوَةِ قَالَ «يُطَافُ عَنْهُ ».

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Ziyad who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Fruits are of one hundred twenty colors [kinds] and the best of them is the pomegranate.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْعَدَةَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
الْفَاكِهَةُ مِائَةٌ وَ عشْرُونَ لَوْناً سَيِّدُهَا الرُّمَّانُ .

Hadith.3284 - And Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Al-Alaa, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as)
"The testimony of a Muslim slave is valid against a free Muslim."
3284 - وَ رَوَى اَلْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ اَلْعَلاَءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ اَلْعَبْدِ اَلْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى اَلْحُرِّ اَلْمُسْلِمِ ".

30. It has been narrated that Muhammad ibn Muslim said
I heard Abu 'Abd Allah (a.s) saying: No forty nights pass for a believer except a matter befalls him that grieves him and reminds him (of Allah).
30 - عن محمد بن مسلم قال
سمعت أبا عبد الله (ع) يقول المؤمنُ لا يمضي عليه أربعون ليلةً إلاّ عُرض له أمرٌ يحزِنه، ويُذكّره به.

13. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following
“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that condemned, and condemned indeed is (a property or) one who does not pay zakat.”
13ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْعَدَةَ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ مَلْعُونٌ مَلْعُونٌ مَالٌ لاَ يُزَكَّى.

3981 - رَوَى إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"نَهَى رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ أَنْ يُشَابَ اَللَّبَنُ بِالْمَاءِ لِلْبَيْعِ".

Hadith.3952 - Al-Ala narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim who report from one of Imams (as)
I asked Imam (as) about pledging collateral (Rahn) and having a guarantor (Kafil) in a deferred payment sale. Imam (as) said: "There is no harm in it."
3952 - وَ- رَوَى الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ‌
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّهْنِ وَ الْكَفِيلِ فِي بَيْعِ النَّسِيئَةِ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ‌.

Hadith.804 - Muhammad ibn Muslim narrated from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that
He said: "There is no issue with praying on mats made from reeds or on palm-leaf mats, and on any plant-based material, except for fruit”.
804 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ - «لاَ بَأْسَ بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَى اَلْبُورِيَاءِ وَ اَلْخَصَفَةِ وَ كُلِّ نَبَاتٍ إِلاَّ اَلثَّمَرَةَ.

Hadith.989 - Muhammad ibn Muslim narrated from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) who said
"If you experience frequent distraction (waswasah), ignore it, for it will soon leave you. It is only from Satan”.
989 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«إِذَا كَثُرَ عَلَيْكَ اَلسَّهْوُ فَدَعْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَدَعَكَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنَ اَلشَّيْطَانِ.

أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) الْحِنَّاءُ يَشْعَلُ الشَّيْبَ .

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad al-Husayn from Ali ibn al-Hakam from fro al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘Testimony by women is not admissible in the case of seeing the crescent.’”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
لا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْهِلالِ.

5411 - رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ اَلْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي اَلصَّبَّاحِ اَلْكِنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اَلْوَصِيَّةِ فَقَالَ "هِيَ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ ".
