Hadith.4681 - Hariz narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim from Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) who said
"The milk of a Jewish, Christian, or Magian woman is more beloved to me than the milk of a child born from adultery. However, he saw no harm in the milk of a child born from adultery if the master of the bondwoman, with whom the immoral act was committed, pardons it."
4681 - وَ رَوَى حَرِيزٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"لَبَنُ اَلْيَهُودِيَّةِ وَ اَلنَّصْرَانِيَّةِ وَ اَلْمَجُوسِيَّةِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ لَبَنِ وَلَدِ اَلزِّنَا وَ كَانَ لاَ يَرَى بَأْساً بِلَبَنِ وَلَدِ اَلزِّنَا إِذَا جَعَلَ مَوْلَى اَلْجَارِيَةِ اَلَّذِي فَجَرَ بِالْجَارِيَةِ فِي حِلٍّ".

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narratedfrom Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from abu Ayyub from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Once I asked abu Ja’far (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, ‘. . . but they did not ‘Istakanu (submit themselves to their Lord,) nor did they make themselves humble ( yatadarra’unY (23:76) the Imam said, ‘al-Tstikana, means humility and al-tadarru’ means raising both hands and begging for help from (Allah) with both hands.’”
6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) عَنْ قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَمَا اسْتَكانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَما يَتَضَرَّعُونَ قَالَ الإسْتِكَانَةُ هِيَ الْخُضُوعُ وَالتَّضَرُّعُ رَفْعُ الْيَدَيْنِ وَالتَّضَرُّعُ بِهِمَا.

9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“About the case of a man to whom another man owes a certain amount of dirham who sells wine or pig when he (the creditor) is looking, then pays him from such funds. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful. For the creditor it is lawful and for the seller it is unlawful.’”
9- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
فِي رَجُلٍ كَانَتْ لَهُ عَلَى رَجُلٍ دَرَاهِمُ فَبَاعَ خَمْراً أَوْ خَنَازِيرَ وَهُوَ يَنْظُرُ فَقَضَاهُ فَقَالَ لا بَأْسَ بِهِ أَمَّا لِلْمُقْتَضِي فَحَلالٌ وَأَمَّا لِلْبَائِعِ فَحَرَامٌ.

14. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from his father from Muhammad ‘ Amr - as far as I know- from abu Ali al-Hadhdha’ from Hariz from Zurara and Muhammad ibn Muslim from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“The farthest that a servant can be from Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, is the condition wherein one has no other concern but his stomach and his genitals.”
14ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فِيمَا أَعْلَمُ عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
أَبْعَدُ مَا يَكُونُ الْعَبْدُ مِنَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِذَا لَمْ يُهِمَّهُ إِلا بَطْنُهُ وَفَرْجُهُ.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya and more than one person has narrated from al-‘ Abbas ibn Ma‘ruf from Sa‘dan ibn Muslim from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn al-Hajj aj who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The first thing that Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, will ask the servants will be, ‘Did I not quench your thirst with sweet water of al-Furat?”’
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ سَعْدَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
أَوَّلُ مَا يَسْأَلُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ ذِكْرُهُ الْعَبْدَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ أَ وَ لَمْ أُرْوِكَ مِنْ عَذْبِ الْفُرَاتِ .

Hadith.1526 - Zurarah and Muhammad ibn Muslim reported from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that they asked him, "What do you say about these winds and darkness that occur? Should one pray because of them?" Imam (as) said
"For every fear-inducing phenomenon from the sky, be it darkness, wind, or dread, pray the prayer of the eclipse (Salat al-Kusuf) until it subsides."
1526 - وَ رَوَى زُرَارَةُ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالاَ
قُلْنَا لَهُ أَ رَأَيْتَ هَذِهِ اَلرِّيَاحَ وَ اَلظُّلَمَ اَلَّتِي تَكُونُ هَلْ يُصَلَّى بِهَا قَالَ «كُلُّ أَخَاوِيفِ اَلسَّمَاءِ مِنْ ظُلْمَةٍ أَوْ رِيحٍ أَوْ فَزَعٍ فَصَلِّ لَهَا صَلاَةَ اَلْكُسُوفِ حَتَّى تَسْكُنَ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from ibn Faddal from Tha’labah ibn Maymun from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
““I once heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), say, ‘The Messenger of Allah did not fast on the day of ‘Arafah from the time fasting of the month of Ramadan came down.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لَمْ يَصُمْ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ مُنْذُ نَزَلَ صِيَامُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ.

Hadith.770 - Ismail ibn Muslim narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that
He said: "Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, revealed to one of His prophets, saying: 'Tell the believers not to wear the attire of My enemies, not to eat the foods of My enemies, and not to follow the paths of My enemies, lest they become My enemies as they are My enemies.'".
770 - وَ رَوَى إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ اَلصَّادِقِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ - «أَوْحَى اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَى نَبِيٍّ مِنْ أَنْبِيَائِهِ «قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لاَ يَلْبَسُوا لِبَاسَ أَعْدَائِي وَ لاَ يَطْعَمُوا مَطَاعِمَ أَعْدَائِي وَ لاَ يَسْلُكُوا مَسَالِكَ أَعْدَائِي فَيَكُونُوا أَعْدَائِي كَمَا هُمْ أَعْدَائِي ».

Hadith.4438 - And in a narration from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), who said
"The daughter of a brother and the daughter of a sister cannot be married alongside their paternal or maternal aunt except with their permission. However, the paternal and maternal aunt can be married alongside the daughter of a brother or the daughter of a sister without requiring their permission."
4438 - وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"لاَ تُنْكَحُ اِبْنَةُ اَلْأَخِ وَ لاَ اِبْنَةُ اَلْأُخْتِ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَ لاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِمَا وَ تُنْكَحُ اَلْعَمَّةُ وَ اَلْخَالَةُ عَلَى اِبْنَةِ اَلْأَخِ وَ اِبْنَةِ اَلْأُخْتِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِمَا ".

9. Ali has narrated from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin would say, ‘Do not hire a dimwitted woman for breastfeeding: milk overpowers natural manners. The Messenger of Allah has said, “Do not hire a dimwitted woman for breastfeeding; with such milk the child grows up.’””
عَلِيٌّ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( صلوات الله عليه ) يَقُولُ لَا تَسْتَرْضِعُوا الْحَمْقَاءَ فَإِنَّ اللَّبَنَ يَغْلِبُ الطِّبَاعَ وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا تَسْتَرْضِعُوا الْحَمْقَاءَ فَإِنَّ الْوَلَدَ يَشِبُّ عَلَيْهِ .

hadith 8
7. And from the previous chain from Jabir from Abi al-Tufayl from Ali (a.s.) who said
‘There is no God except Allah’ and his or her grades are not elevated. He or she will continue to scale all heights. None of his (or her) sins shall be questioned. And for each of his sins equal number of good deeds would be given and he would be satisfied.
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِی الطُّفَیْلِ عَنْ عَلِیٍّ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَیْهِ قَالَ
مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ یَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ إِلَّا صَعِدَتْ تَخْرِقُ کُلَّ سَقْفٍ لَا تَمُرُّ بِشَیْ ءٍ مِنْ سَیِّئَاتِهِ إِلَّا طَلَسَتْهَا حَتَّی تَنْتَهِیَ إِلَی مِثْلِهَا مِنَ الْحَسَنَاتِ فَتَقِفَ.

hadith 359
11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu’awiyah ibn Wahab from Mu’adh ibn Muslim from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Bear patience against the enemies of the bounties (Jealous people). You cannot compensate (your loss) from one who has disobeyed Allah in your case, in a more proper way than obeying Allah in his case.”
11ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
اصْبِرُوا عَلَى أَعْدَاءِ النِّعَمِ فَإِنَّكَ لَنْ تُكَافِئَ مَنْ عَصَى الله فِيكَ بِأَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَنْ تُطِيعَ الله فِيهِ.

Hadith.1020 - Muhammad ibn Muslim narrated that Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) was asked about a man who entered the prayer with the Imam and was already behind by one rak'ah. When the Imam completed the prayer and left with the congregation, the man remembered that he had missed one rak'ah. Imam (as) said
"He should repeat one rak'ah."
1020 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ دَخَلَ مَعَ اَلْإِمَامِ فِي صَلاَتِهِ وَ قَدْ سَبَقَهُ بِرَكْعَةٍ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ اَلْإِمَامُ خَرَجَ مَعَ اَلنَّاسِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ فَاتَتْهُ رَكْعَةٌ قَالَ
«يُعِيدُ رَكْعَةً وَاحِدَةً.

Hadith.1231 - Al-'Ala narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) who said
"There is no harm if a person speaks after the Imam has finished the sermon on Jumu’ah, during the time between the sermon and the establishment of the prayer, whether he hears the recitation (during the prayer) or not; it is sufficient for him."
1231 - وَ رَوَى اَلْعَلاَءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ اَلرَّجُلُ إِذَا فَرَغَ اَلْإِمَامُ مِنَ اَلْخُطْبَةِ يَوْمَ اَلْجُمُعَةِ، مَا بَيْنَهُ وَ بَيْنَ أَنْ تُقَامَ اَلصَّلاَةُ وَ إِنْ سَمِعَ اَلْقِرَاءَةَ أَوْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ أَجْزَأَهُ.

18. A group has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“One of the two Imam, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘Do not perform obligatory Salah (prayer) in al- Ka‘bah.’” In another Hadith it is narrated that Salah (prayer) is performed toward four directions if one has no choice but to do so.”
18ـ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما الْسَّلام) قَالَ
لاَ تُصَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةُ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ. وَرُوِيَ فِي حَدِيثٍ آخَرَ يُصَلَّى فِي أَرْبَعِ جَوَانِبِهَا إِذَا اضْطُرَّ إِلَى ذَلِكَ.

hadith 613
5. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah and others from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about, ‘If you are afraid of discord between them then send one arbitrator from his people and another from her people.’ (4:35) He (the Imam) said, ‘They cannot decide to separate them without previous authorization of their decision by the parties (the wife and husband).’
وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبَلَةَ وَ غَيْرِهِ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا ( عليهما السلام ) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَابْعَثُوا حَكَماً مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَ حَكَماً مِنْ أَهْلِها قَالَ لَيْسَ لِلْحَكَمَيْنِ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَا حَتَّى يَسْتَأْمِرَا .

4. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Aban from Muhammad ibn Muslim from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, “Whoever achieves virtue will have its merit increased. . .” (42:23) The Imam (a.s.) said
‘achievement’ refers to one’s submission to us, his speaking the truth from us and not to ascribe any lies to us.”
4ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِ الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى وَمَنْ يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَزِدْ لَهُ فِيها حُسْناً قَالَ
الاقْتِرَافُ التَّسْلِيمُ لَنَا وَالصِّدْقُ عَلَيْنَا وَأَلا يَكْذِبَ عَلَيْنَا.

2. Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Once I read the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, before one of the two Imam (a.s.) . . those who avoid the major sins and indecent acts except the al-Lamam ones . . (53:33) The Imam said, ‘It is a thing after a thing, that is, a sin after a sin that a servant (of Allah) commits.’”
2ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيهِما السَّلام) قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ الَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبائِرَ الإثْمِ وَالْفَواحِشَ إِلا اللَّمَمَ قَالَ الْهَنَةُ بَعْدَ الْهَنَةِ أَيِ الذَّنْبُ بَعْدَ الذَّنْبِ يُلِمُّ بِهِ الْعَبْدُ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), once said to me, ‘O Muhammad, never chew chewing gum because I today did so when I was fasting and I found something from it in my soul.’”

قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِيَّاكَ أَنْ تَمْضَغَ عِلْكاً فَإِنِّي مَضَغْتُ الْيَوْمَ عِلْكاً وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ فَوَجَدْتُ فِي نَفْسِي مِنْهُ شَيْئاً.
