8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about the case of a woman whose husband dies and about where she can complete her waiting period. He (the Imam) said, ‘She can do so wherever she likes but she must not pass a night in a place other than her house.’”
محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن علي بن الحكم، عن العلاء بن رزين، عن محمد بن مسلم، عن أحدهما عليهما السلام قال
سألته عن المتوفى عنها زوجها أين تعتد، قال: حيث شاءت ولا تبيت عن بيتها.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ibn ’Udhayna from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following.
“I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.), ‘Can I add to or omit from a Hadith that I hear from you?’” He said, “It is alright, if you would preserve the meaning,’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لابِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَسْمَعُ الْحَدِيثَ مِنْكَ فَأَزِيدُ وَأَنْقُصُ قَالَ إِنْ كُنْتَ تُرِيدُ مَعَانِيَهُ فَلا بَأْسَ.

hadith 699
7. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq from Bakr ibn Muhammad from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Whenever a Muslim helps make the wish of a Muslim to come true, Allah, the Most Blessed, the Most High, says, ‘With Me is your reward and I will not agree to allow it to be less than paradise.’”
7ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَا قَضَى مُسْلِمٌ لِمُسْلِمٍ حَاجَةً إِلا نَادَاهُ الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَيَّ ثَوَابُكَ وَلا أَرْضَى لَكَ بِدُونِ الْجَنَّةِ.

hadith 214
(42) Muhammad bin Ya’qoob narrated from some of his companions from Ahmad bin Muhammad from Ali bin al-Hakam from Abu Ayyoob al-Khazzaz from Muhammad bin Muslim that Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (as) had said
“If you are informed that your man has disappeared, do not deny that.” The same was narrated by Muhammad bin Ya’qoob from Ali bin Ibraheem bin Hashim from Muhammad bin Abu Omayr from Abu Ayyoob al-Khazzaz from Muhammad bin Muslim.
42 - وأخبرنا محمد بن يعقوب، عن عدة من رجاله، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن علي بن الحكم، عن أبي أيوب الخزاز، عن محمد بن مسلم قال
سمعت أبا عبد الله يقول: إنْ بلغَكم عن صاحبكم غيبةٌ فلا تنكروها.

4. Abu Ali al-Ash ‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has narrated the following
“About the case of a child if his bearing testimony to an existing testimony, he (the Imam) said, ‘If his reason can comprehend when he becomes mature that it is right, it then is permissible.’”
4- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما السَّلام) قَالَ
فِي الصَّبِيِّ يُشْهَدُ عَلَى الشَّهَادَةِ قَالَ إِنْ عَقَلَهُ حِينَ يُدْرِكُ أَنَّهُ حَقٌّ جَازَتْ شَهَادَتُهُ.

5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from ibn abu Nasr from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin, from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Once, I asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah) (a.s.), about a prey. A stone or clay-ball kills it if it is edible. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is not edible.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا ( عليهما السلام ) قَالَ

5. Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Rib’iy ibn ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If a man makes a slave-girl bare and places his hand on her she becomes unlawful for his son.’”
5- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِذَا جَرَّدَ الرَّجُلُ الْجَارِيَةَ وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَلا تَحِلُّ لابْنِهِ.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
I once asked one of the two Imam, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about a man who finds blood in clothes of his brother while he is performing Salah (prayer). He (the Imam) said, ‘He is not required to inform him until he completes his Salah (prayer) again.’”
8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما الْسَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَرَى فِي ثَوْبِ أَخِيهِ دَماً وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي قَالَ لاَ يُؤْذِنُهُ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ.

hadith 689
1. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from more than one person from Aban from Muhammad ibn Musfim who has said the
foiiowing: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), ’Is there any hour during which performing Salah (prayer) for a deceased is prohibited? He (the Imam) said, ‘No, there is no such time.’”
1ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) هَلْ يَمْنَعُكَ شَيْ‏ءٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّاعَاتِ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ فَقَالَ لاَ.

152. From him, from Ali Bin Asbaat, from Al-A’la Bin Razeyn, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said
Abu Abdullah wrote to the Shiites: ‘Let those who are elderly from among you be sympathetic, and prohibit the ignorant ones and the seekers of leadership, or else you will all be affected by my (asws) curse’.
عَنْهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
كَتَبَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) إِلَى الشِّيعَةِ لَيَعْطِفَنَّ ذَوُو السِّنِّ مِنْكُمْ وَ النُّهَى عَلَى ذَوِي الْجَهْلِ وَ طُلَّابِ الرِّئَاسَةِ أَوْ لَتُصِيبَنَّكُمْ لَعْنَتِي أَجْمَعِينَ.

Hadith.233 - Muhammad ibn Muslim asked Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) saying: 'Did The Commander of the Faithful (as) prohibit the recitation of the Qur'an in the bathhouse?' Imam (as) said: 'No, he only prohibited a man from reciting while being naked. If he is wearing a waistcloth (covering), then there is no harm.'
233 - وَ سَأَلَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فَقَالَ: أَ
كَانَ أَمِيرُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يَنْهَى عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ اَلْقُرْآنِ فِي اَلْحَمَّامِ فَقَالَ «لاَ إِنَّمَا نَهَى أَنْ يَقْرَأَ اَلرَّجُلُ وَ هُوَ عُرْيَانٌ فَإِذَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ إِزَارٌ فَلاَ بَأْسَ.

Hadith.4480 - Muhammad ibn Muslim reported: I asked Imam Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) about a man who already has a wife and then marries another woman. I asked: "Is it permissible for him to give preference to her (the new wife)?" Imam (as) replied: "Yes, if she is a virgin, then seven days; and if she is previously married (a widow or divorced), then three days."
4480 - وَ رَوَى اِبْنُ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ اَلرَّجُلُ تَكُونُ عِنْدَهُ اَلْمَرْأَةُ يَتَزَوَّجُ أُخْرَى أَ لَهُ أَنْ يُفَضِّلَهَا قَالَ "نَعَمْ إِنْ كَانَتْ بِكْراً فَسَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَ إِنْ كَانَتْ ثَيِّباً فَثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ".

hadith 169
1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from al-Abbas b. Ma’ruf from Sa’dan b. Muslim from Abdillah b. Sinan from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“The honor of a believer is in offering Salaat-e-Shab and his prestige is in not asking from people.”

شَرَفُ الْمُؤْمِنِ صَلَاهُ اللَّیْلِ وَ عِزُّ الْمُؤْمِنِ کَفُّهُ عَنِ النَّاسِ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Marwan ibn Muslim from Muhammad ibn Shurayh who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about women’s going out for the two ‘Id. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, except old women wearing their pairs of shoes.’” (Consult Fatwah about this hadith)
1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فَقَالَ لا إِلا عَجُوزٌ عَلَيْهَا مَنْقَلاهَا يَعْنِي الْخُفَّيْنِ.

Hadith.4727 - It was narrated from Harun ibn Muslim who said
I wrote to the 'Sahib al-Dar' (Master of the House Imam Muhammad ibn Hassan Al-Mahdi (as)) saying: "A child was born to me, and I shaved his head, weighed his hair in dirhams, and gave its equivalent in charity." Imam (as) replied: "It is not permissible to weigh it except with gold or silver, and this is the established Sunnah."
4727 - وَ رُوِيَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
كَتَبْتُ إِلَى صَاحِبِ اَلدَّارِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ وُلِدَ لِي مَوْلُودٌ وَ حَلَقْتُ رَأْسَهُ وَ وَزَنْتُ شَعْرَهُ بِالدَّرَاهِمِ وَ تَصَدَّقْتُ بِهِ قَالَ "لاَ يَجُوزُ وَزْنُهُ إِلاَّ بِالذَّهَبِ أَوِ اَلْفِضَّةِ وَ كَذَا جَرَتِ اَلسُّنَّةُ".

3. Hammad has narrated from Hariz from Zurarah and Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“We once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the wind and darkness that at certain times come, is there any Salah (prayer) because of it? He (the Imam) said, ‘When anything frightening from the sky in the form of darkness, wind or noise takes place, perform Salah (prayer) like that of eclipse until it clears out.’”
3ـ حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالاَ
قُلْنَا لأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) هَذِهِ الرِّيَاحُ وَالظُّلَمُ الَّتِي تَكُونُ هَلْ يُصَلَّى لَهَا فَقَالَ كُلُّ أَخَاوِيفِ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ ظُلْمَةٍ أَوْ رِيحٍ أَوْ فَزَعٍ فَصَلِّ لَهُ صَلاَةَ الْكُسُوفِ حَتَّى يَسْكُنَ.

Hadith.3077 - Al-Ala narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from one of the Imams (as), who said
I asked him about a hady (obligatory sacrificial animal) that suffers a fracture or injury—can it be sold, and if sold, what should be done with its price? Imam (as) replied: "If he sells it, he should give its price in charity and offer another sacrificial animal."
3077 - وَ رَوَى اَلْعَلاَءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اَلْهَدْيِ اَلْوَاجِبِ إِنْ أَصَابَهُ كَسْرٌ أَوْ عَطَبٌ أَ يَبِيعُهُ وَ إِنْ بَاعَهُ مَا يَصْنَعُ بِثَمَنِهِ قَالَ «إِنْ بَاعَهُ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِثَمَنِهِ وَ يُهْدِي هَدْياً آخَرَ».

(66) Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Sa’eed narrated from the previous four narrators from al-Hasan bin Mahboob from al-Ala’ bin Razeen from Muhammad bin Muslim that Abu Ja’far al-Baqir (as) had said
“Expect the cry to come to you surprisingly from the direction of Damascus. Then great deliverance will come to you.”
66 - أخبرنا أحمد بن محمد بن سعيد، عن هؤلاء الرجال الأربعة، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن العلاء بن رزين، عن محمد بن مسلم، عن أبي جعفر
أنه قال: توقعوا الصوت يأتيكم بغتة من قبل دمشق، فيه لكم فرج عظيم.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Of birds you can eat that which has gizzard and no claws.’ I then asked about birds in water and he (the Imam) said a similar thing.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْعَدَةَ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
كُلْ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ مَا كَانَتْ لَهُ قَانِصَةٌ وَ لَا مِخْلَبَ لَهُقَالَ وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ طَيْرِ الْمَاءِ فَقَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ .
