4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad and al-Husayn from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who takes Ghusl (bath) for Ihram, then puts on his shirt before assuming the state of Ihram. He (the Imam) said, ‘His Ghusl (bath) has become invalid.’”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنْ رَجُلٍ اغْتَسَلَ لِلإِحْرَامِ ثُمَّ لَبِسَ قَمِيصاً قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ قَالَ قَدِ انْتَقَضَ غُسْلُهُ.

393. Narrated to me Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Umar Bin Abdul Aziz, from Jamil, who has said
Abu Abdullah (asws) has said: ‘Rasulallah (saww) used to divide his moments between his companions. He would look at this one, and look at that one equally.'
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ جَمِيلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) يَقْسِمُ لَحَظَاتِهِ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى ذَا وَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى ذَا بِالسَّوِيَّةِ.

8. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Ghiyath ibn Ibrahim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause,’ would not touch anything except the corner of the Black Stone and al-Yemaniy corner. He (the Messenger of Allah) kissed them and placed his cheek against them and I saw my father also did so.’”
8ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ غِيَاثِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لا يَسْتَلِمُ إِلاَّ الرُّكْنَ الأَسْوَدَ وَالْيَمَانِيَّ ثُمَّ يُقَبِّلُهُمَا وَيَضَعُ خَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا وَرَأَيْتُ أَبِي يَفْعَلُهُ.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Isma’il ibn Hammam who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said that abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the one who travels on foot for al-Hajj, has said, ‘When one throws pebbles on Jamar, he can visit the House riding; and he is not obligated for anything in this matter.’”
7ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) فِي الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الْمَشْيُ فِي الْحَجِّ إِذَا رَمَى الْجِمَارَ زَارَ الْبَيْتَ رَاكِباً وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ.

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has narrated the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘If a man hears a testimony but has not witnessed it, he has the choice to testify or remain silent.’”

إِذَا سَمِعَ الرَّجُلُ الشَّهَادَةَ وَلَمْ يُشْهَدْ عَلَيْهَا فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ شَهِدَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ سَكَتَ.

18. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from Safwan ibn Yahya from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim from one of them (the two Imam)
“Someone asked the Imam (a.s.), about poor and destitute. He replied, ‘Poor is one who does not ask for help. Destitute is of a worse condition and he asks for help.’”
18ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما الْسَّلام) أَنَّهُ
سَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْفَقِيرِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ فَقَالَ الْفَقِيرُ الَّذِي لاَ يَسْأَلُ وَالْمِسْكِينُ الَّذِي هُوَ أَجْهَدُ مِنْهُ الَّذِي يَسْأَلُ.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Safwan ibn Yahya from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), was once asked about vegetables if there is Zakat on it, if sold in exchange for a great wealth. He (the Imam) said, ‘
No, Zakat is not due on it (such wealth) unless it remains with one for one year (in store).”’
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْخُضَرِ فِيهَا زَكَاةٌ وَإِنْ بِيعَتْ بِالْمَالِ الْعَظِيمِ فَقَالَ
لاَ حَتَّى يَحُولَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Salmah ibn al-Khattab from Ali ibn al-Hassan from Ali ibn Ribat from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Salih who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the case of a woman, who is for al-Hajj al- Tamattu‘ (advantageous), performs Tawaf, then experiences Hayd (menses). He (the Imam) said, ‘She must perform Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah and perform Qada’ (compensatory Hajj for) her al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous).”’

قُلْتُ لَهُ امْرَأَةٌ مُتَمَتِّعَةٌ تَطُوفُ ثُمَّ طَمِثَتْ قَالَ تَسْعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَتَقْضِي مُتْعَتَهَا.

1. My Father (RA) said: Muhammad ibn Yahya al-`Attar said on the authority of Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn `Isa, on the authority of Abu Hashim al-Ja`far that
I asked Abu Ja`far Muhammad ibn `Ali the Second (AS), “What is the meaning of the One [al-Wahid]? He replied, “He is the One whose Divine Unity [al-Wahdaniyyah] is professed by all tongues.”
1 - حدثنا أبي رضي الله عنه، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى العطار، عن أحمد ابن محمد بن عيسى، عن أبي هاشم الجعفري، قال
سألت أبا جعفر محمد بن علي الثاني عليهما السلام، ما معنى الواحد؟ فقال: المجتمع عليه بجميع الألسن بالوحدانية .

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Musa ibn Sa‘dan from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Haytham from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘You must not attach your wet clothes to your body, when you are fasting, before you wring them.’”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَعْدَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) يَقُولُ لا تُلْزِقْ ثَوْبَكَ إِلَى جَسَدِكَ وَهُوَ رَطْبٌ وَأَنْتَ صَائِمٌ حَتَّى تَعْصِرَهُ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Husayn al- Qalanisiy or certain persons of his people who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A servant (of Allah) can make the exception up to forty days if he forgets.’”

لِلْعَبْدِ أَنْ يَسْتَثْنِيَ فِي الْيَمِينِ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً إِذَا نَسِيَ.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from al-‘Amrakiy from Ali ibn Ja‘far from his brother, Musa (a.s.), who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam), ‘Does the medicine that one may keep inside his body during Salah (prayer), invalidate his Wudu’?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It does not invalidate his Wudu’ but he must not perform Salah (prayer) before taking it away.’”
7ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ الْعَمْرَكِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ هَلْ يَصْلُحُ لَهُ أَنْ يَسْتَدْخِلَ الدَّوَاءَ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّيَ وَهُوَ مَعَهُ أَ يَنْقُضُ الْوُضُوءَ قَالَ لاَ يَنْقُضُ الْوُضُوءَ وَلاَ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى يَطْرَحَهُ.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following
“I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who does not experience any wet dream but he finds wet spots on his thigh and his clothes. Is Ghusl (bath) necessary for him? He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, Ghusl (bath) is necessary.”
7ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَنَامُ وَلَمْ يَرَ فِي نَوْمِهِ أَنَّهُ احْتَلَمَ فَيَجِدُ فِي ثَوْبِهِ وَعَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْمَاءَ هَلْ عَلَيْهِ غُسْلٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Ali al-Kufiy from al-Nawfaliy from Ghiyath ibn Ibrahim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘Wudu’ is not valid from the place you walk on.’ Al-Nawfaliy has said, ‘It means the place on which one steps.’”
5ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْكُوفِيِّ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنْ غِيَاثِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لاَ وُضُوءَ مِنْ مُوطَإٍ قَالَ النَّوْفَلِيُّ يَعْنِي مَا تَطَأُ عَلَيْهِ بِرِجْلِكَ.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Imran ibn Musa from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Majid from Ali ibn al-Fadl al-Wasitiy who has said the following
“I once wrote to him (the Imam), Alayhi al-Salam, asking, ‘If a sun or moon eclipse takes place and I am riding and unable to dismount what must I do?’ He (the Imam) wrote to me, ‘Perform Salah (prayer) on your stumper which you ride.’”
7ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْوَاسِطِيِّ قَالَ
كَتَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ إِذَا انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ أَوِ الْقَمَرُ وَأَنَا رَاكِبٌ لاَ أَقْدِرُ عَلَى النُّزُولِ قَالَ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مَرْكَبِكَ الَّذِي أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Nu’man from abu Sulayman from Muyassir who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, gives the world to those He loves as well as to those He hates, but He does not give belief to anyone except those He loves.”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُيَسِّرٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا يُعْطِيهَا الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَنْ أَحَبَّ وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَ وَإِنَّ الإيمَانَ لا يُعْطِيهِ إِلا مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ.

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Musa ibn Sa‘dan from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who trims his mustache and fingernails and washes his head with marshmallow on Friday, he is like one who sets free a human being.’”
6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَعْدَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ أَخَذَ مِنْ شَارِبِهِ وَقَلَّمَ مِنْ أَظْفَارِهِ وَغَسَلَ رَأْسَهُ بِالْخِطْمِيِّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ نَسَمَةً.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Yahya al- Halabiy from al-Harith ibn al-Mughirah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘There are four Rak‘at after al-Maghrib. You must not omit them, regardless of being on a journey or while at home.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَرْبَعُ رَكَعَاتٍ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ لاَ تَدَعْهُنَّ فِي حَضَرٍ وَلاَ سَفَرٍ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from abu Wallad who has said that
he asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High. “The people who have received Our Book (Quran), and read it thoroughly, believe in it. Those who disbelieve the Book are certainly losers.” (2:121) The Imams (a.s.) said that such people are the Imams (a.s.).”

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الَّذِينَ آتَيْناهُمُ الْكِتابَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاوَتِهِ أُولئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ قَالَ هُمُ الائِمَّةُ (عَلَيْهم السَّلام )

“About the case of a man who dies and leaves behind his wife, sister and grandfather, abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘This is distributed from four parts, one-fourth for the woman, one share for the sister and two shares for the grandfather.’”

فِي رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَأُخْتَهُ وَجَدَّهُ قَالَ هَذِهِ مِنْ أَرْبَعَةِ أَسْهُمٍ لِلْمَرْأَةِ الرُّبُعُ وَلِلأخْتِ سَهْمٌ وَلِلْجَدِّ سَهْمَانِ.
