4. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from certain persons of his people from Ibrahim ibn ‘Uqbah in a marfu manner has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’Wiping one’s hands with a towel after wudu (washing) removes troubles and increases sustenance.’”
الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مَسْحُ الْوَجْهِ بَعْدَ الْوُضُوءِ يَذْهَبُ بِالْكَلَفِ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الرِّزْقِ .

hadith 173
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain individuals of his people who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘When Allah is not interested in a person, He allows greediness to dominate him.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لله فِي عَبْدٍ حَاجَةٌ ابْتَلاهُ بِالْبُخْلِ.

2. Humayd ibn Ziyad from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from certain persons of his people from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from Durust ibn abu Mansur from Mu’ammar ibn Yahya who has narrated the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Obligations and divorce are not dealt with properly without the sword.’”

لا تَقُومُ الْفَرَائِضُ وَالطَّلاقُ إِلا بِالسَّيْفِ.

hadith 689
1. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from more than one person from Aban from Muhammad ibn Musfim who has said the
foiiowing: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), ’Is there any hour during which performing Salah (prayer) for a deceased is prohibited? He (the Imam) said, ‘No, there is no such time.’”
1ـ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) هَلْ يَمْنَعُكَ شَيْ‏ءٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّاعَاتِ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ فَقَالَ لاَ.

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Sa‘d ibn Sa‘d al-Ash’ariy who has said the following
“I once asked al-Rida’ (a.s.), about the case of the three days’ fasting every month, if Qada’ (compensatory fast) is required from a traveler. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, he is not required to fast.’”
3ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَوْمِ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي الشَّهْرِ هَلْ فِيهِ قَضَاءٌ عَلَى الْمُسَافِرِ قَالَ لا.

5. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ali from al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Yusuf from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from Fayd ibn al-Mukhtar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that serving food, offering greetings of peace aloud and performing Salat (prayer) when people are sleeping are reasons for which one may gain salvation.”
5ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يُوسُفَ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ فَيْضِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
الْمُنْجِيَاتُ إِطْعَامُ الطَّعَامِ وَإِفْشَاءُ السَّلامِ وَالصَّلاةُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّاسُ نِيَامٌ.

hadith 421
2. Ali has narrated from Muhammad from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Menopause happens at the age of fifty. 5 It is also narrated that it is at the age of sixty.”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) الْمَرْأَةُ الَّتِي قَدْ يَئِسَتْ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ حَدُّهَا خَمْسُونَ سَنَةً. وَرُوِيَ سِتُّونَ سَنَةً أَيْضاً.

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from ‘Umar ibn Aban from Mudrik ibn abu al-Hazhaz who has said the following
“I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘I guarantee safety from poverty in favor of one who observes moderation (in spending).”
6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنْ مُدْرِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الْهَزْهَازِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ضَمِنْتُ لِمَنِ اقْتَصَدَ أَنْ لا يَفْتَقِرَ.

11. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Aban from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Ali (a.s.), once took Wudu’. He washed his face and forearms, then wiped on top of his head and over his shoes but he did not push his hand under his shoelaces.’” (Fatwa best explains this Hadith.)
11ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
تَوَضَّأَ عَلِيٌّ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَعَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ وَلَمْ يُدْخِلْ يَدَهُ تَحْتَ الشِّرَاكِ.

69. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Ahmad ibn ‘Umar al-Hallal who has said the following.
“I asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most High. “. . someone will cry out, “God has condemned the unjust,” (7:44) The Imam (a.s.) said, “The caller will be Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (a.s.).”
69ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْحَلالِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى فَأَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ بَيْنَهُمْ أَنْ لَعْنَةُ الله عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام )

3. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from al-Mufaddal ibn Salih from Jabir who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about children when they line up for obligatory Salah (prayer). He (the Imam) said, ‘Do not push them back from obligatory but separate them from each other (boys from girls).’”
3ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الصِّبْيَانِ إِذَا صَفُّوا فِي الصَّلاَةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ قَالَ لاَ تُؤَخِّرُوهُمْ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ وَفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَهُمْ.

4. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Zurarah who has said the following
“I heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), say, ‘When a person performing al-‘Umrah arrives in Makkah, performs Tawaf and Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah, then if he likes, he can move on riding his means of transport and join his family.”’
4ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) يَقُولُ إِذَا قَدِمَ الْمُعْتَمِرُ مَكَّةَ وَطَافَ وَسَعَى فَإِنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَمْضِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَلْيَلْحَقْ بِأَهْلِهِ.

22. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mansur ibn Hazim from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“Once, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about the case of a man to whom another man owed a certain amount of debts. He held al-Rahn (security deposit) if he could buy al-Rahn (security deposit). He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, he can do so.’”
22- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ يَكُونُ لَهُ الدَّيْنُ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ وَمَعَهُ الرَّهْنُ أَيَشْتَرِي الرَّهْنَ مِنْهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

37. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Of the blessing of a woman is her being of light expenses and her giving birth with ease. Of the evil with her is intensified expenses and her giving birth with hardships and difficulties.’”
37- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مِنْ بَرَكَةِ الْمَرْأَةِ خِفَّةُ مَئُونَتِهَا وَتَيْسِيرُ وِلادَتِهَا وَمِنْ شُؤْمِهَا شِدَّةُ مَئُونَتِهَا وَتَعْسِيرُ وِلادَتِهَا.

1. Imam Ridha (a.s.) narrates that Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “Wear a Ruby ring for it puts an end to poverty.”

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, gave permission to camel attending people to come during the night and throw pebbles.”’
محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن علي بن الحكم، عن علي بن أبي حمزة، عن أبي بصير قال
قال أبوعبدالله عليه السلام: رخص رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله لرعاة الابل إذا جاؤوا بالليل أن يرموا.

“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘I went to throw pebbles but there were only six pebbles in my hand.’ He (the Imam) said, ’Take one from under your feet.’”

قلت لابي عبدالله عليه السلام: ذهبت أرمي فإذا في يدي ست حصيات فقال: خذ واحدة من تحت رجلك.
