4. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from abu Basir who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), if al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage) is of four. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, even seventy is not unlawful.’”
4- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الْمُتْعَةِ أَهِيَ مِنَ الأرْبَعِ فَقَالَ لا وَلا مِنَ السَّبْعِينَ.

8. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Zurarah who has said the following
“About the case of a man who divorces his wife and she is pregnant; if he can marry her sister before she gives birth, he (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘He must not marry her until her time is complete.’”
8- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
فِي رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى أَيَتَزَوَّجُ أُخْتَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَضَعَ قَالَ لا يَتَزَوَّجُهَا حَتَّى يَخْلُوَ أَجَلُهَا.

1. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-ffassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Breastfeeding does not bring unlawfulness unless it makes the flesh to grow and the bones to strengthen.’”
1- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ لا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ إِلا مَا أَنْبَتَ اللَّحْمَ وَشَدَّ الْعَظْمَ.

6. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from certain persons of our people from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from al-Halabiy and abu Basir and abu al-‘Abbas all from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), who have said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘She inherits him but he does not inherit her (if divorce takes place in his illness) when ‘Iddah (waiting period) is complete.’”
6- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ وَأَبِي بَصِيرٍ وَأَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ جَمِيعاً عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
أَنَّهُ قَالَ تَرِثُهُ وَلا يَرِثُهَا إِذَا انْقَضَتِ الْعِدَّةُ.

6. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from al-Muthanna’ from Hatim ibn Sulayman who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The sword of the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, was decorated with gold and silver, as well as its Qa’imah (handle) and Qiba‘ (hilt).”’

سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الذَّنْبَ يَحْرِمُ الْعَبْدَ الرِّزْقَ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Musa ibn Bakr from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘A woman who is divorced three times does not deserve maintenance from her husband; it is for the one whose husband has the right to go back to her.’”

2. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ja‘far ibn Muhammad al-Ash’ariy from al-Qaddah from abu ‘Abd Allah, who has said the following
“The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Wudu’ is the opening of Salah (prayer), Takbir marks the field of Salah (prayer) and Taslim marks the end of the field of Salah (prayer).”’
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الأشْعَرِيِّ عَنِ الْقَدَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) افْتِتَاحُ الصَّلاَةِ الْوُضُوءُ وَتَحْرِيمُهَا التَّكْبِيرُ وَتَحْلِيلُهَا التَّسْلِيمُ.

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Allah, the most Blessed, the most High, loves (shedding blood of edible animals) for serving meat and food.’”

إِنَّ الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يُحِبُّ إِهْرَاقَ الدِّمَاءِ وَإِطْعَامَ الطَّعَامِ.

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from ’Ubayd ibn Zurara who has said the following.
“Abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) said, ‘You must preserve your books because you will soon need them.’”

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) احْتَفِظُوا بِكُتُبِكُمْ فَإِنَّكُمْ سَوْفَ تَحْتَاجُونَ إِلَيْهَا.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following
“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘If one knows the kind of mistake he has made and completes it then Sajdah (prostration) for mistake is not necessary for him. Sajdah (prostration) for mistake is upon one who does not know if he has increased or decreased something in Salah (prayer).”’
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ مَنْ حَفِظَ سَهْوَهُ وَأَتَمَّهُ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ سَجْدَتَا السَّهْوِ إِنَّمَا السَّهْوُ عَلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَدْرِ زَادَ أَمْ نَقَصَ مِنْهَا.

3. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from certain persons of his people from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a boy becomes ten years old his will is permissible.’”
3- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Muhammad ibn Muslim from abu Hamzah who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja’far (a.s.), about security deposit, mortgage and guarantor in transaction on credit. He (the Imam) said, ’It is not unlawful.”’
1- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّهْنِ وَالْكَفِيلِ فِي بَيْعِ النَّسِيئَةِ فَقَالَ لا بَأْسَ بِهِ.

كُلُّ يَمِينٍ لا يُرَادُ بِهَا وَجْهُ اللهِ تَعَالَى فِي طَلاقٍ أَوْ عِتْقٍ فَلَيْسَ بِشَيْ‏ءٍ.

مَا لَمْ يُوَافِقْ مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ زُخْرُفٌ.

I heard Aba al-Hasan al-Ridha عليه السلام saying: worship is not excessive prayers or fasting, worship is reflecting over the affair of Allāh Mighty and Majestic.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Uthman ibn ’Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’Akulah is not accepted. It is the great ewe among sheep, or the one that gives birth to it, as well as its breeder.’”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
لاَ تُؤْخَذُ أَكُولَةٌ وَالأكُولَةُ الْكَبِيرَةُ مِنَ الشَّاةِ تَكُونُ فِي الْغَنَمِ وَلاَ وَالِدُهُ وَلاَ الْكَبْشُ الْفَحْلُ.

2. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Rib‘i from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), ‘Can a man move backward in Salah (prayer)?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, he cannot do so.’ I then asked, ‘Can he move forward?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, as much as he wants to al-Qiblah (al-Ka‘bah).’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ يَتَأَخَّرُ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ لاَ قُلْتُ فَيَتَقَدَّمُ قَالَ نَعَمْ مَا شَاءَ إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ.
