محمد بن أحمد بن يعقوب

11. Ahmad ibn Idris from Muhammad ibn Ahmad in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If you face uncertainty about Tasbih of Fatimah al- Zahra’, ‘Alayha al-Salam, say it again.’”

“I wrote to the man (Imam) (a.s.), ‘What do you say about reading Salah (prayer) of Tasbih while sitting in a carriage on the back of camel?’ He wrote back, ‘If you are on a journey you can perform it (in such carriage).”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), would say Tasbih of Fatimah al-Zahra’, ‘Alayha al-Salam, continuously without interruption.”

Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: Indeed, from an individual’s happiness is the lightness of his two opposites. He said: There is no happiness in this. The happiness is only in the lightness of his two chewers by (which he can perform) glorification (of Allah).

“The sleep of a fasting person is worship, his silence like the glorification of Allah, his deeds are accepted and his wishes, fulfilled.”

“One who goes to mosque on foot, everything will glorify Allah for him from the place where he steps on be it wet or dry till the seventh heaven.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said, “Recite Sub-h’aanallaahi wal h’amdu lillaahi wa laa ilaaha illallaahu wallaahu akbar often because this statement will come to you surrounded by angels and will be included among your good deeds.”

“For one who recites Sub-h’aanallaah without surprise Allah will create a bird from it, having a tongue and two wings. It will glorify Allah for that person till the Day of Judgment. The recitation of statement Al-h’amdulillaahi wa laa ilaaha illallaahu wallaahu akbar also holds the same reward.”

Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (MGB) said, “There are ninety-five Takbirs in the five daily prayers including the ones said in the Qunut.

Abu Abdullah (asws) said: ‘O Abu Muhammad! Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic has Angels who cut off the sins from the backs of our (asws) Shites just like the cutting by the wind of the leaves from the tree in the season of autumn and that is the Statement of the Mighty and Majestic: “[40:7] hymn the praises of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who believe”, and Allah (azwj) has not Intended by this other than you’.

2. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) said, “One who seeks forgiveness after reciting Tasbih of Zahra (s.a.) will be forgiven. Although it is recited a hundred times, it is equal to one thousand Tasbih in Mizan. It keeps Satan away and pleases the Merciful.”

The Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said: Is any of you incapable of reciting, at every night, a third of the Qur’an? They said: And who can handle that? He said: «Say: He is Allah, Alone and Only» (112:1) three times.

I asked Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (AS). “Are there oceans in heaven?” He replied, Yes. My father related to me, on the authority of his father, and he on the authority of his grandfather (AS) that the Messenger of Allah (SA) said: Verily, in the seven heavens there are oceans, the depths of which are like the distance traveled over the course of five hundred years. In them are angels who have been standing in service since they were created by Allah, the Mighty and High. The water barely reaches their knees. There is not an angel among them but that he has fourteen hundred wings. On each wing, there are four faces. On each face there are four tongues. And there is no a single wing or a single tongue or a single mouth but this it glorifies Allah, the Mighty and High, with a glorification that does not resemble in any way the prayers of the others.

When you say Subhanallah va bihamdeh you have raised up the Blessed the Sublime God to a higher rank than what the atheists say. When you say La illaha illalah vahdahu la sharika la you have expressed the words of sincerity. Anyone who utters this and is not one of the haughty oppressors shall be saved from the Fire by God. When you say la hule va la quwata illa billah you have entrusted your affairs to God. When you say Istaqfurallah va Atubo ellayh it implies that you are not haughty and oppressive. One who is too haughty would insist on committing sins and his selfish desires overwhelm him. He favors the affairs of this world over those of the Hereafter. When you say alhamdulil-lah , you have thanked for the blessings which God has sent for you.’”
