hadith 1130
10. Abu Dawud has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah from al-Husayn ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Amr ibn abu Nasr who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), “Can a man speak during Adhan?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’ I then asked, about ‘Iqamah. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is not acceptable.’”
10ـ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَ يَتَكَلَّمُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الأذَانِ قَالَ لاَ بَأْسَ قُلْتُ فِي الإِقَامَةِ قَالَ لاَ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Musa ibn Sa’dan from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Qasim from ‘Amr ibn abu al-Miqdam who has said the following
“The first time I met abu Ja’far (a.s.) he said to me, ‘Learn to speak the truth before narrating al-Hadith (statements of the Holy prophet and ‘ A’immah ).’”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَعْدَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي الْمِقْدَامِ قَالَ
قَالَ لِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) فِي أَوَّلِ دَخْلَةٍ دَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ تَعَلَّمُوا الصِّدْقَ قَبْلَ الْحَدِيثِ.

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from Ahmad ibn ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from Wardan from Abu al-Hassan al-Awwal (a.s.) who said
“Whoever lives at a distance of ten miles from Makkah must not enter it except in a state of Ihram.”
11ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ وَرْدَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الأَوَّلِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
مَنْ كَانَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ عَلَى مَسِيرَةِ عَشَرَةِ أَمْيَالٍ لَمْ يَدْخُلْهَا إِلاَّ بِإِحْرَامٍ.

hadith 838
1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Sulayman ibn ‘Amr al-Nakha’i that Abu 'Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as) said
"If one experiences sorrow due to [the death of] someone, he should remember his sorrow of [losing] the Prophet (sw) for [his death] is the greatest of all sorrows."
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ أُصِيبَ بِمُصِيبَةٍ فَلْيَذْكُرْ مُصَابَهُ بِالنَّبِيِّ (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الْمَصَائِبِ.

hadith 1779
8. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from al-Hassan ibn al-Jahm and ibn Faddal all have said the following
“We asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about al-Fuqa’. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is unlawful, it is an unknown wine and its penalty is the same as that which is for wine.”’
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْجَهْمِ وَ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ جَمِيعاً قَالَا
سَأَلْنَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْفُقَّاعِ فَقَالَ حَرَامٌ وَ هُوَ خَمْرٌ مَجْهُولٌ وَ فِيهِ حَدُّ شَارِبِ الْخَمْرِ .

14. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman from Muhammad ibn ‘Adhafir from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Optional Salah (prayer) is like present; whenever given is accepted.’”
14ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُذَافِرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ اعْلَمْ أَنَّ النَّافِلَةَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْهَدِيَّةِ مَتَى مَا أُتِيَ بِهَا قُبِلَتْ.

6. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Qalanisi from Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn ‘Amr from Ali ibn Mahziyar who has said the following.
“Once I said abu al-Hassan (a.s.), “If something will happen-I seek refuge before Allah – to who then will go (Leadership with Divine Authority)?” He said, “My covenant (directive will) is for the eldest of my sons.”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْقَلانِسِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لابِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) إِنْ كَانَ كَوْنٌ وَأَعُوذُ بِالله فَإِلَى مَنْ قَالَ عَهْدِي إِلَى الاكْبَرِ مِنْ وَلَدَيَّ.

20.ʿAlī ibn al-Nuʿmān narrated from ʿAmr ibn Shimr, from Jābir, from Abū ʿAbdillāh (a) who said
“The Messenger of Allah (ṣ) said, ‘Verily Allah loves the modest, clement, independent, chaste individual. And indeed Allah hates the shameless, obscene, scrounging, importune individual.’”

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: ان الله يحب الحيي الحليم الغنى المتعفف الا وان الله يبغض الفاحشة البذي السائل الملحف.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Nu’man from ‘Amr ibn Shamir from Jabir from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Allah certainly loves the living person who is forbearing, maintains chastity and restrains from worldly matters (sins).”’
8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) إِنَّ الله يُحِبُّ الْحَيِيَّ الْحَلِيمَ الْعَفِيفَ الْمُتَعَفِّفَ.

hadith 263
23. Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Ahmad ibn al-Nadr from ‘Amr ibn Shamir from Jabir who has said the following
“Once I said to abu Ja’far (a.s.) ‘May Allah grant you favors, what is graceful patience?’ The Imam said, ‘That is the patience in which there is no complaint before the people.’”
23ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَرْحَمُكَ الله مَا الصَّبْرُ الْجَمِيلُ قَالَ ذَلِكَ صَبْرٌ لَيْسَ فِيهِ شَكْوَى إِلَى النَّاسِ.

Hadith.1925 - Abd al-Karim ibn Amr asked Imam (as): "I have made a vow upon myself to fast until the Qa'im (as) rises." Imam (as) said: "Do not fast during travel, on the two Eids, on the days of Tashriq, or on the day of doubt."
1925 - وَ سَأَلَهُ عَبْدُ اَلْكَرِيمِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو فَقَالَ: إِنِّي جَعَلْتُ عَلَى نَفْسِي أَنْ أَصُومَ حَتَّى يَقُومَ اَلْقَائِمُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فَقَالَ «لاَ تَصُمْ فِي اَلسَّفَرِ وَ لاَ فِي اَلْعِيدَيْنِ وَ لاَ فِي أَيَّامِ اَلتَّشْرِيقِ وَ لاَ اَلْيَوْمِ اَلَّذِي يُشَكُّ فِيهِ ».

Hadith.1944 - Sulayman ibn Amr narrated from Abu Abdullah (as), who said
"Umm Salama (may Allah (swt) be pleased with her) complained of an issue with her eye during the Month of Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) instructed her to break her fast and said: 'The nourishment of the night is restorative for your eyes.'"
1944 - وَ رَوَى سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«اِشْتَكَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا عَيْنَهَا فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَأَمَرَهَا رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ أَنْ تُفْطِرَ وَ قَالَ «عَشَاءُ اَللَّيْلِ لِعَيْنَيْكِ رَدِيٌّ».

5. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Khashshab from ibn Baqqah from ‘Amr ibn Jami’ who has said the following
“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has stated this Hadith. ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, “If one finds pieces of food and eats them it is one good deed, and if one finds them in unclean places, then washes them, then picks them up, he will have seventy good deeds recorded for him.’””
حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْخَشَّابِ عَنِ ابْنِ بَقَّاحٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَنْ وَجَدَ كِسْرَةً فَأَكَلَهَا كَانَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ وَ مَنْ وَجَدَهَا فِي قَذِرٍ فَغَسَلَهَا ثُمَّ رَفَعَهَا كَانَتْ لَهُ سَبْعُونَ حَسَنَةً .

hadith 471
1. Hamid ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Khashshab from ibn Baqqah from Mu’adh ibn Thabit from ‘Amr ibn Jumay‘ who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘There is no Riba ’ between a man and his sons as well between a master and his slave.”’
1- حُمَيْدُ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْخَشَّابِ عَنِ ابْنِ بَقَّاحٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) لَيْسَ بَيْنَ الرَّجُلِ وَوَلَدِهِ رِباً وَلَيْسَ بَيْنَ السَّيِّدِ وَعَبْدِهِ رِبًا.

Hadith.2386 - Amr ibn Abi Al-Miqdam narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) who said
"In the wisdom of the family of Dawood (as) it is stated that it is incumbent upon the intelligent person not to travel except for one of three purposes: gathering provisions for the Hereafter, seeking sustenance for livelihood, or indulging in permissible pleasure."
2386 - رَوَى عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي اَلْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«فِي حِكْمَةِ آلِ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَنَّ عَلَى اَلْعَاقِلِ أَنْ لاَ يَكُونَ ظَاعِناً إِلاَّ فِي ثَلاَثٍ تَزَوُّدٍ لِمَعَادٍ أَوْ مَرَمَّةٍ لِمَعَاشٍ أَوْ لَذَّةٍ فِي غَيْرِ مُحَرَّمٍ.

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn Ali al-Sindiy from Muhammad ibn ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from a man from ibn abu Ya‘fur who has said the following
“I once heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), saying, ‘Beware of red camels because the life of such camels is the shortest.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ السِّنْدِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِيَّاكُمْ وَ الْإِبِلَ الْحُمْرَ فَإِنَّهَا أَقْصَرُ الْإِبِلِ أَعْمَاراً .

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-‘Abbas ibn Musa from Yunus from ‘Arm ibn abu Nasr who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), if one can buy a small slave-girl. He (the Imam) said, ‘If she is independent of her parents, it is not unlawful.’”
4- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) الْجَارِيَةُ الصَّغِيرَةُ يَشْتَرِيهَا الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَتْ قَدِ اسْتَغْنَتْ عَنْ أَبَوَيْهَا فَلا بَأْسَ.

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Sinan from ‘Amr ibn al-Afraq from abu ‘Ubaydah from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“It is a good idea for the believers to shake each other’s hands after one of them remains out of sight, even because of a tree in between.”
9ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الأفْرَقِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُؤْمِنَيْنِ إِذَا تَوَارَى أَحَدُهُمَا عَنْ صَاحِبِهِ بِشَجَرَةٍ ثُمَّ الْتَقَيَا أَنْ يَتَصَافَحَا.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman from Ali ibn Khalid from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘My father would say, ‘One who enters al-Ka‘bah does so while Allah is happy with him and comes out while his sins are suspended.’”
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
كَانَ أَبِي يَقُولُ الدَّاخِلُ الْكَعْبَةَ يَدْخُلُ وَالله رَاضٍ عَنْهُ وَيَخْرُجُ عُطُلاً مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ.

24. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthaman from al-Mufaddal ibn Salih from Zayd al-Shahham who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about the angel of death saying, ‘Is it true, as it is said that he observes the whole earth like a bowl on his palm and stretches his hand to it as he likes?’ He replied, ‘Yes, that is true.’”
24ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ قَالَ
سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنْ مَلَكِ الْمَوْتِ يُقَالُ الأرْضُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ كَالْقَصْعَةِ يَمُدُّ يَدَهُ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ يَشَاءُ قَالَ نَعَمْ.
