"They deemed the marking of the sacrificial animals commendable because with the first drop of its blood that falls, Allah (swt), the Almighty, forgives the one offering it."

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) was once at his brother Aabdullah b. Muhammad's house when Aamr b. Hurayth entered and asked him, 'What has brought you to this place?' to which he replied, 'Seeking recreation.

Kulaini said: A Shaykh from our scholars, whose name I forgot, said that Abu Amr was asked in the presence of Ahmad Ibn Ishaq the same question and he gave a similar answer.

46 – al-Ḥasan b. Abī Qutāda ʿAlī b. Muḥammad b. Ḥafṣ b. Ubayd b. Ḥumayd, client of al-Sā’ib b. Mālik al-Ashʿarī, known by the kunya of Abū Muḥammad. The “poems of ʿAmr b. Maʿdi Karab and his reports” has arrived to me, (it is) his production.

"Lian (the mutual curse between spouses) does not take place unless the man has consummated the marriage with his wife."

“Proud people will be farthest from Allah on the Day of Judgment.”

“It is very proper for a Muslim man to avoid friendship and brotherhood with a liar; he lies and, even if he comes with truth, he is not believed and trusted.”

“The distance to perform Sa‘y (running slowly) in Wadiy Muhassar is of one hundred yards.’”

Abu Abdullah (asws) said: ‘The wisdom is the objective of the believer, so wherever one of you finds his objective, so he should take it’.

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘For everything there is a spring. The spring for the Holy Quran is the month of Ramadan.’”

I heard Abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) say the following: “Do you think that a testator of us chooses whoever he wants as the executor of his will? No, I swear by Allah, it is not so. It is a covenant from Allah and His Messenger to a man and then to the next man until the matter is delivered to its rightful owner.” Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Minhal from ‘Amr ibn al-Ash‘ath from Abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) a similar hadith.

Whoever asks God for forgiveness seventy times after the dawn prayer will be forgiven by God on that day even though he commits seventy-thousand sins on that day. However, it will not benefit anyone who commits more than seventy-thousand sins on that day.”In another tradition we read seven-hundred sins instead of seventy-thousand sins.”

“A man asked him (the Imam) about the case of a man who dies leaving behind the daughter of his sister and slaves. He has left one thousand dirham with him about which no one knows anything. The daughter of his sister came and left a holy book with him as a security deposit. He gave her thirty dirham. I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ask, ‘Does anyone know about?’ I replied, ‘No, no one knows anything about it.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Give it to her piece by piece and do not inform anyone about it.’”

1 – Jābir b. Yazīd, al-Juʿfī, al-Kūfī. Thiqa in himself, however most of those who narrate from him are weak. Of those who (narrate) the most from him of the weak narrators, there are: ʿAmr b. Shimr al-Juʿfī, Mufaḍḍal b. Ṣāliḥ, al-Sakūnī, and Munakhkhal b. Jamīl al-Asadī.

Shia people sent the obligatory payments to Imam Hasan Askari (a.s) through Amr. Due to the tyrannical rule of Abbasids he resorted to Taqayyah and concealed the monies and letters in oil containers and conveyed them to the Imam in this secret way.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘One who does not ask help from Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, becomes needy and poor.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘The best asset is sheep.’”

“In friendliness, certainly, there are increased blessings. One dispossessed of (faculty) friendliness is deprived of goodness.”

“Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, is compassionate. He loves kindheartedness and awards for it with such things that He does not give due to rudeness.”

The Master of the affair [Imamate] would be imprisoned once and also die at a time and flee [escape from prison].
