I heard the Prophet (MGB) say, ‘There will be twelve Leaders after me.’ Then the Prophet (MGB) (lowered his voice and) said something which I could not hear. I asked, ‘What tribe?’ The Prophet (MGB) said, ‘They are all from the Quraysh.’”

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, once missed one of his companions for a time and then, when he saw him again, he asked: "What has kept you from us so long?’ He said: "O Prophet of Allah, illness and poverty prevented me." The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "May I not teach you prayers which you would recite so that Allah may keep illness and poverty away from you?" He said: "Yes, may my parents be your ransom, O messenger of Allah." The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: Say: "There is no might nor power except that by Allah. I entrust all my affairs unto the One Who lives for ever and never dies; All Praise be to Allah, Who begets no son, and Who has taken no partners in His Dominion, nor has He any protector. So magnify Him in the most Glorious way."

I asked al-Rida, Ali bin Musa, peace be upon him, about «Bism-il-Laah». He said: The meaning of the saying of the sayer: «Bism-il-Laah» is: I attribute upon myself an attribute from the Attributes of Allah, Glorious and Exalted is He, and that is servitude. He said: Then I said to him: What is an attribute? He said: It is a sign.

“I heard the Imam (a.s.) saying, ‘Whoever says these words I guarantee that scorpions and small vermin will not harm him, ‘I seek protection through such words of Allah that no virtuous or wicked person is able to bypass, I seek protection thereby against the evil of whatever He has spread and settled (on earth), against the evil of all walking things on earth under His control. My Lord has the straight path.’”

I asked Al-Ridha (s) about the meaning of ‘In the Name of Allah.’” Al-Ridha (s) said, ‘The meaning of saying ‘In the Name of Allah’ is that I put one of the marks of the Honorable the Exalted God that is His servitude on myself.’ Then I asked Al-Ridha (s) what is meant by ‘the mark of’?’ Al-Ridha (s) replied, ‘It means a sign of.’”

I asked al-Rida `Ali ibn Musa (AS) about the meaning of Bismillah: He (AS) said: “The meaning of the statement Bismillah is ‘I mark myself with one of the traits of Allah, the Mighty and High’ and that is true service.” I asked him, “What is al-simah?” Therefore, he (AS) replied, “It is the mark.”

Al-Rida (as) said: Whoever recalls our tragedy and weeps when he commits to us will be with us in our rank on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever recalls our tragedy, weeps, and makes others weep, his eye will not weep on the Day that the eyes will weep. Whoever partakes in a gathering in which our affair is revived, his heart will not die on the Day that the hearts will die.

“When al-Qa’im appears, he will invite the people to a new mission as the Prophet (sw) has invited the people to a new mission. Islam has begun strange and it will return strange as it has begun. Blessed are the strangers!”

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: I am astonished at he who avoids food in fear of disease – why does he not avoid sins in fear of Hell?!

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever finds a crumb or a date and eats it, it will not leave his stomach until Allah forgives him.

It is not harmful because his father gave permission when he was living.’”

A caller from the Heaven will call out: “So-and-so the son of so-and-so is the man of this matter. Then what is the fight for?”

“I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the in charge of this matter (Leadership with Divine Authority) nad he said. “ The in charge of the task does not trifle or play. At this time abu al-Hassan, Musa came. He was very small. With him there was a baby goat of Makka and he was saying to her, “Prostrate before your Lord. Abu ‘Abdallah then took him and hugged him and said, “May Allah take my soul and the souls of my parents in service for the cause of one who does not trifle and engage in amusement.”

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: He whose speech is the Quran and whose home is the mosque, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.

in writing, “There will be twelve Leaders for this Nation. Once they end there shall be rebellion and oppression all over the Earth and they will fight with each other.”

I was in the presence of Abu Al-Hassan the First (asws). He (asws) saw me groaning (with pain). So he (asws) said: ‘What is the matter with you?’ I said, ‘My molar (toothache)’. So he (asws) said: ‘If only you had cupping done’. So I got cupping done and it settled down. I informed him (asws) of it’. So he (asws) said to me: ‘There is no better cure for the people than the sucking out of the blood and a certain amount of honey’. I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you (asws), what is a certain amount of honey?’ He (asws) said: ‘A lick of honey’.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If a woman experiences Hayd (menses) when performing Tawaf or Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah and begins to experience Hayd (menses) after passing half of Tawaf, she marks that point. After becoming clean she can return to that place and continue to complete the remaining part of Tawaf; but if experiencing Hayd (menses) begins before half of Tawaf is complete, she must do her Tawaf all over again.’”

The Prophet (s) said: Whoever has one mustard seed of racism in his heart will be raised by Allah on the Day of Resurrection with the bedouins of Jahiliyya.

The name of Iblees is Harith, and Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He, only says: «O Iblees» (15:32) as in: O disobedient. He was named Iblees [1] because he despaired from the mercy of Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He.
