2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘If one keeps hairs he must maintain them properly or clip them.”’
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَنِ اتَّخَذَ شَعْراً فَلْيُحْسِنْ وِلَايَتَهُ أَوْ لِيَجُزَّهُ .

27. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from more than one person who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Looking at the private parts of non-Muslims is like looking at the private parts of donkeys.’”
علي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه، عن ابن أبي عمير، عن غير واحد، عن أبي عبدالله عليه السلام قال
النظر إلى عورة من ليس بمسلم مثل نظرك إلى عورة الحمار(1).

9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Talhah ibn Zayd who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Three things were given to the Prophets. They are perfumes, marriage and toothbrushes.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
ثَلَاثٌ أُعْطِيَهُنَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ ( عليهم السلام ) الْعِطْرُ وَ الْأَزْوَاجُ وَ السِّوَاكُ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain persons of his people who has said the following
“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The nearest relative performs Salah (prayer) for a deceased or one whom such relative likes to perform Salah (prayer).”’
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِهَا أَوْ يَأْمُرُ مَنْ يُحِبُّ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Talhah ibn Zayd who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If the Imam is present, he is the most deserving of all people to perform Salah (prayer) for a deceased person.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
إِذَا حَضَرَ الإِمَامُ الْجِنَازَةَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ النَّاسِ بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهَا.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that duration of visiting a patient is as long as a baby- camel is given the chance to suckle the mother during milking the camel or as long as it takes to milk a camel.”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
الْعِيَادَةُ قَدْرَ فُوَاقِ نَاقَةٍ أَوْ حَلْبِ نَاقَةٍ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Ali (a.s.), has said, ‘They (reliable people) were of the opinion that by giving charity, a man saves himself from suffering injustice.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ عَلِيٌّ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) كَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ تُدْفَعُ بِهَا عَنْ الرَّجُلِ الظَّلُومِ.

489. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al-Nowfaly, from Al-Sakuny, who has narrated the following
Abu Abdullah (asws) has said: ‘The Rasool Allah (saww) said: ‘It is on you to travel at night, for the ground folds up at night’.
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّفَرِ بِاللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّ الْأَرْضَ تُطْوَى بِاللَّيْلِ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce takes place when he says, “I‘tady (commence waiting period) or says, ‘Anti Taliq (you are let go, divorced).”’
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
الطَّلَاقُ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهَا اعْتَدِّي أَوْ يَقُولَ لَهَا أَنْتِ طَالِقٌ .

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Divorce is permissible except divorce by a man with mental condition, a child or Mubarsam, (suffering from a disease of diaphragm), an insane or a coerced one.”’
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
كُلُّ طَلَاقٍ جَائِزٌ إِلَّا طَلَاقَ الْمَعْتُوهِ أَوِ الصَّبِيِّ أَوْ مُبَرْسَمٍ أَوْ مَجْنُونٍ أَوْ مَكْرُوهٍ .

“Abu Ibrahim (a.s.), has said, ‘Stay away from fornication, it destroys one’s sustenance and invalidates one’s religion.’”

قَالَ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) اتَّقِ الزِّنَا فَإِنَّهُ يَمْحَقُ الرِّزْقَ وَيُبْطِلُ الدِّينَ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Whoever you associate with, if you can maintain an upper hand (in your dealings with him) do so (be more beneficial).”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) مَنْ خَالَطْتَ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَكُونَ يَدُكَ الْعُلْيَا عَلَيْهِمْ فَافْعَلْ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“I asked ( the Imam) about the words of Allah, ‘. . . the invention of Allah (had a certain) nature with which He created all people. . . .’ (30:30) The Imam (a.s.) said, ‘It (invention, Fitrat) refers to belief in Oneness of Allah (belief in Allah only is placed in their nature).”’

قُلْتُ فِطْرَتَ الله الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْها قَالَ التَّوْحِيدُ.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) أَرْكَانُ الْكُفْرِ أَرْبَعَةٌ الرَّغْبَةُ وَالرَّهْبَةُ وَالسَّخَطُ وَالْغَضَبُ.
